Afternoon all :grouphug:
I've actually managed to sort of read through the thread today :rotfl: Hugs to everyone who needs one.
MATH - can I buy your house as that's the sort of view I'd love to have... I think I have about £6 in my PIN:rotfl:
Anyway, I've been a busy little bee this morning. 2 loads of washing done, 2 loads of dishes done (another 2 to go I think, but it's mostly pans now...only drying area restricting how much I can do perload!), bedrooms tidy & beds made, more of the chest-of-drawers I dismantled last week has gone in the bin (splitting my thumb in the process, at least it's not too deep/big ..just in a really awkward place! ), livingroom tidy, DD's artwork from nursery now sorted out and the smaller ones are in a plastic wallet inside the artcase which I've also reinforced with a bit of cardboard box, filing done and now I'm onto my ebay listings. Not that much to list so it shouldn't take that long.
I have no idea what we'll have for tea, maybe pasta with a fresh tomato sauce. Need to remember to go and buy some cheese on my way to pick DD up from school, and we might need milk as wellOh well, better get on.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hi all
Sunny & a bit warmer here today. I was looking forward to a lie in at the weekend, but poor hubby has to work, so it will be a 6am start as usual.
We are really going to try & save, hubby has applied to attend a Domestic Electrical Installation, Competent Person course, it’s going to cost us £1000, we have about £500 saved at the moment, it would have been more, but for my stepson running up a £400 phone bill!! If we can afford for hubby to go on the course it will mean more regular work & less labouring for him and as he is 50 now that will be good.
Hugs to all who need them.

Afternoon all
Not had a chance to read all the posts i will catch up with that later.
Not a good day here today.
DS is still ill so i took him to the Dr who said he has a very bad bout of the flu.
I was not able to go into work again thats a weeks now. They could not open today as the ratio was to low without me in.
I now feel really bad but i can not help my son feeling ill. It does not look like we are going to be back anytime soon either as the dr told me it woudl be at least another week before he will be better.
I am going to have to go and pick my daughter in 30 mins from school were alot of the mums will be that i work with and have let down today.
I have decided that if anyone makes any comments i will just tell them how it is and that DS is really ill.
I am also considering resigning i do not need the hasstle.
Sorry for the rant i am crying as i type.
I will fill you all in on how it goes.0 -

((((FF)))) - hope your DS gets better soon - he is your priority dont let others comments make you feel down - was there other people off as well if the ratio was to low to open - I wouldnt let yourself think it was just because you were off - sorry if I am of the mark

The staffing levels are low anyway but not to low to open so me being off made the pre-school unable to open.
I was blanked by 2 of my co workers.
Will be thinking about what to do tonight.
My Dr has advised me to stop working anyway because of my PND and i am so low picking up everything going.
Maybe this is what i need.
Thank you so much you are a lovely lot.0 -

If your doctor has advised that you give up - and you are getting grief - then just give up totally and explain that it is their attitude that really made things imposible for you.
Had people been reasonable with you then you would have tried to soldier on even though you made yourself ill in the process!
Serve them right if they lose you completely!
Do not lose sleep over them - they do not deserve it."This site is addictive!"

What you say makes total sence. Can you come and say it to my boss for me0

(((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))) FF, your Doctor obviously thinks its in your best interests to resign, listen to him, he is the one who knows. The co - workers who blocked you,...... tough your child comes before your duty to anyone else..... if they cannot hack it, then they will have to do the other thing, your boss as well.
