You can cancel the entertainment passes @tillygirl but I am pretty sure you need them to go swimming. Every Haven I have been to has checked them when you enter the complex.0

Hi. I've just had an invoice for the park supplement for a European holiday. It says that I need to pay immediately. Does anyone know how long you have before they cancel your holiday?0

I need some advice if someone can help. I booked our family holiday around this time last month and 5 minutes after booking I sent them a contact us request for disability requirements. I have subsequently sent them 2 further requests for updates, had a lengthy and frustrating conversation on the facebook page of which I was banned from further communication because they didn't like that I felt I was getting scammed and phoned their offices directly. I got told they would look into it by a woman called Lacey in "customer services" and it would take 5 days (8 days ago). My partner has contacted the park directly who state that they have had no communication from the Sun at all (including up to today's phone call).
I feel like I have no control over the situation and they have made me feel like scum when all I wanted was to make sure that my ex-army, disabled father had adequate facilities for our holiday. The only option available to me at the moment is to pay an extra £50 to the park to do what the Sun promised it would arrange.
What, if anything, can I do to get some control over the situation and what exactly are my rights in a situation like this?0 -
Beware the sun do not give refunds.
I have been told by the sun that they will not refund my money even though john fowler refunded their share as the chalet was not as described.
I am now going along the route of eu directive about on line distance selling .
Beware the sun are really digging heels in and are stating no refunds.0 -
Hi gareth123456
Im watching this with interest as we turned up at our site and to say the place was disgusting is an understatement. The first caravan had litter all over the place, hadn't been cleaned, smelt awful, there was litter all over the grounds (not a little - it looked like rubbish bins had been tipped up and scattered around the area outside. It was like being in the Bronx! My children were scared.
We eventually got moved even though i had previously been advised twice there were no other caravans. This caravan smelt of mould and damp and i refused to put 3 young children in there.
on top of this there were gangs of lads outside the main venue fighting with no sign of security.
They then advised that the park was full. Eventually they agreed that they were at fault and i was given a refund of all of the their costs but could not refund me the sun950 initial cost. I lodged a formal complaint with the site also.
I can see that im going to have a fight on my hands to get this money backStarting weight: 14st 02lb - 15.07.2013 (WW)
