We collected the tokens for a stay in the Easter school holidays (WC 8th April) - nothing was available.

We still want to go away, any other sites reccomended for booking?

Hi everyone,

We managed to book our holiday for September at a Haven site. We used the online booking form, but there was no option for a caravan upgrade on the form as there is if you post it off.
Does anyone know if we can upgrade when we receive confirmation through the post?

We're setting off for a Sun Holiday later and we only paid for a standard caravan, after paying the balance off, upon getting a new confirmation (email) we were surprised to see we'd been upgraded to a "luxury" caravan, Havens Superior. I'll let you know how it is once were back! Have a nice weekend

Just a word of warning with the Sun holidays. We rushed to book our sun breaks online and had to rejuggle a few dates and holiday destinations as our original 4 choices were unavailable. Also you have a limited time to fill in form online which adds to pressure. As a consequence we put 4 holiday choices which we hadn't thoroughly researched and ended up with our fourth choice resort. You have to pay for holiday before you know which of the 4 choices you are getting and if, like us, you panicked we ended up with a resort which we regretted. Particularly when we researched it on trip advisor to find that most people reported it as grim and gave it a one star! Ahhh We would never have gone for this holiday normally and feel it has been an expensive lesson learned not to rush into booking online again with the Sun unless you have at least 10 choices of parks in mind,which you have research beforehand.
