Just to say that I have filed online with Moneyclaim to help SIL get all her charges etc back. This amounts to nearly £2500 including the 8% so far....so do they now have 14 days to reply?
Thanks again for all the help.

They have 14 days from the date the papers are presented to them (5 days after after you made the claim online), so thats a total of 19 days. In this time if they acknowledge the claim (they usually say they are planning on a full defence) then they have a further 14 days to defend.Littlewoods catalogue - won back charges of £300 by default.

Good Morning everyone.
We're claiming back a total of £819 (two accounts, 1 - £689, 2 - £130).
They're not due to reply until the end of next week but got two letters this morning offering £466 (1 - £366, 2 - £100), in full and final settlement. They also say in their letter that any future charges will stand and that they will close the accounts if they feel they aren't being managed properly.
I'm not meant to accept this am I? Will they definately pay up? I don't want to cut off my nose blah blah blah ....!
If I don't accept it, what is the procedure from here?
One of the accounts is in my sole name and the other is held jointly with my husband. Will I have to pay one or two lots of court fees?
Thanks for your advice - this site is soooo useful.

They can charge you up to £10 for disclosure under the DPA. Use the standard letter on CAG and send it in with the £10 fee. Good luck!Littlewoods catalogue - won back charges of £300 by default.

I would have thought that under the Data Protection Act you have ready access to your data if the relevant fee is paid. just keep quoting the Data Protection Act at them when you speak to them! Can anyone else shed any light on this?Littlewoods catalogue - won back charges of £300 by default.
