    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hugs to all.

Little bear woke me up at around 6.30 when he was singing and reading his books. I felt I woke up to a huge cuddle.

I put in an order to Lakeland yesterday. There was a multitude of other items I wanted but refrained.

Next door has filled his skip - no room for our rubbish :( but I have ordered some extra strong rubbish bags to take chopped up buddliea to the tip and the other flotsam and jetsam can go in as well. Dear heart can have a few tip runs, that always cheers him up.

I think I will have a day thinking - trying to work out meal plans and where to save money and how to sort the pounds shillings and pence out My late mother used to say that she needed to sort out the lsd, but you can't say that now we've gone decimal. Apparently our road is going to be tarmaced. This could mean that our road will be adopted. This is likely to mean us having to pay out. This will mean that the savings that we have to move once little bear's speech therapy is sorted out will be trashed.

Also, going to start some cress off for little bear. Does anyone have recipes for the dratted stuff - I can see me growing shedloads of the stuff!

    Essex girl - good luck

Ladymay - I love to hear about romance - hope it happens!

Hester - has the BOW driven the Bursar completely bursar yet?

    Morning everyone!

Bit dull here in my neck of the woods this morning and dont think its to get much better :( Came home from work yesterday to find our patio table (Cheapy plastic one) outside the garden!!!!! Which means that the wind had blown it over the top of a 4ft fence! WOW!

Brekkie this morning was yoghurt and cranberry juice (perfect for lazy mornings!), lunch will be wholemeal toast with cream cheese and tea tonight might be some sort of vegetable curry. We're not veggie but i have so much in the fridge that could do to be eaten. Not sure how OH will react to a meat-free tea but heres hoping!

Essex-Girl - I dont undersatand why doctors surgeries work like this! My local one insists that you phone on the morning of the appointment. They open at 8 - by 5 past 8 - all appointments are gone:mad: Not entirely sure how this works but i moved to a surgery a few miles away who are fab! I can pretty much get an appointment when i need one!

Ladymay - thats great , keep us posted.:happyhear

    Morning All!
Sun's shining at the moment in Hastings, but isn't expected to last:o

Did really well OS with a chicken at the weekend. Cooked it Saturday, had Chinese stir fry, for me,OH and DS. Three roast dinners Sunday, two chicken Kormas Mon, sandwich for DS at college today and three pints of Leek and potato soup with the chicken stock!:T :T Not bad for a £3 chicken!

Today DS is having his girlfriend over, so I'll have to check what's in the freezer.
Completely forgot that I had an appointment to see my nurse yesterday:eek: Knew it was a Monday, but thought it was next week! Had to email her with profuse apoplogies. That's the trouble with not being at work, one day melds into the next!

Wheelchair clinic Thurs, mustn't forget that!

My consultant rand me Sunday Evening. He's going to write a report that says I should be considered for retirement. Can't wait to sort it out, in limbo for a while now....:o

Anyway, have a great day all, going to look in the freezer now.......
    I Believe in saving money!!!:T

    Morning
Its lovely and sunny here today, not been out yet but OH said its really cold.

He's gone over to his Mums to take the shopping over and clean up for her.

Could'nt face breakfast this morning, I will have something lunch-time
fruit probably, Dinner I dont know yet

Off to Mums in a bit to take the shopping over, and do anything she wants doing, I dont do the dusting though she does that herself.
Hopefully I will be home around 12:30 ish, got loads to do here.

The garden is a disgrace, :o I really must get something done out there, I've never left it this late to get started before, the enthusiasm seems to have deserted me.
At least we dont have gardens to do for the 2 Mums, I we really would'nt be able to cope with three gardens as well as three houses.

    (((((((((HUGS))))))))) for all today x

    Sorry:o moan over x

Ah well better get on the road see you later

Our bed has been stripped and bedclothes are washed and on the line outside.

DH is off to work, DD(23) is at work and DD(15) is at school! Peace and quiet - bliss!

DD(20) is eating breakfast and then off to visit a friend.

I want to make another French loaf in the Panny as it turned out so well last time and might make a large tray of quorn lasagne for tea tonight.

Might seperate a portion of the mince mixture and make a small shepherd's pie for DH as he is not keen on pasta.

    Hester

It would be great if your DH could get something more in the way of work from the school, even if it was not full time, it would let you know what was coming in reliably.

So pleased that you heard from your OH:j

    Mrsmouse

Make sure you rest as this virus going around is nasty and takes ages to shake off. I've been making DD and DH take home made elderberry syrup which seems to have soothed their throat a bit.

Going to have a cup of tea so see you all later and hugs to all.

Good morning everyone. Sunny here too although it's not supposed to last. I've pegged some stuff out just in case & put the rest on clothes airers upstairs. Lots of OS cleaning & cooking here today;) I'm following the flylady thread & it's definitely helping bring the chaos of 4 children under control :T I'm still doing it all but it's easier with a system. All kids gone to school/college now & DH in bed after his night shift so it's just me & the dog - who is giving me when are we going out looks :D

Lunch is leftover pasta & cheese dinner is twice baked potatoes & beans yum yum.

(((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))) to all poorlies hope that you feel better soon.

    Morning all!

Lovely and sunny here today! Need to get myself to the hosp for some more tests, apparently they didn't like the last lot of blood they drained from me! Then I'm off window shopping, literally, I need a new window to replace the pane that a stone went through when I mowed the lawn aeons ago! Also want to get some fizzer for the cider and a wine kit! The excitement is all too much sometimes lol!

OS wise I will be hoovering, kitchen is S&S, bm is on, wm is on and I have picked up the rubbish in the kids rooms, they can do the towels, clothes, books, etc and hoover them themselves later!

Lunch was gammon sarnies, yoghurt, raisins and a few minstrels (I'm so generous sharing with the kids!), apple and a HSM cake thing (dd3 was excited, ds wasn't looking quite so thrilled!) Not sure about my lunch, depends how long the hosp takes!

Dinner will be lasagne, salad and ciabatta if I get organised, if not it'll be something from the freezer or toad in the hole!

Have a good day all, will do a catch up later xx

I use a nitty gritty comb, works on dry hair or with conditioner, it's fab cos it grips the strands and pulls out any eggs that are lurking! Four kids has meant a lot of creepy lodgers over the years! :o
