Morning all,
At work this morning for a few hours, have no energy at all because I ended up going to the pub last night and lo and behold it was £1 a pint - well £1.25 for cider. Not hungover but I never sleep when I've been drinking and I really want to train today - earlier the better maybe?
Breakfast was porridge, lunch is ham sandwiches and fruit, and dinner will some sort of sausage and pasta concoction. OS today will be mainly finishing off my washing, might prepare some beans and veg for a stew tomorrow if i have time.
Off to Camden Market today with one of my best friends - I love it there but must not not not not spend any money - ah well, I like a challenge
Halight - I'm so envious! I'm not green-fingered at all and the only thing I've managed to ever keep alive is the orchid in my window which I've had for a good few years now. I'd love to grow my own veg and herbs when I've got a bit more time on my hands
Reverbe - good news on the OH front
Nice surprise yesterday - when I went to the after show party on Friday I sort of *ahem* kissed a guy who I've had my eye on for a little while, and yesterday he asked for my number. Not sure if it'll lead to anything, but I'll keep you posted
Have a great day everybody, *hugs* to anybody who needs one.

Morning all
Windy here and we also had hailstones in the night. Seemed to be battering very loudly against the window but that just made me feel very snug in my bed.
The cold gammon was lovely last night so we are having the same again tonight. I'm tempted now to do a gammon more often on a Sunday and use it during the week. Much tastier than packed sliced ham.
Last night's washing is on the airer. Pity the weather has changed but maybe that will make us appreciate the spring weather all the more when it is here to stay.
Hope everyone has a good day. Hope you had a better sleep pen-pin.

Morning Chums ,
it looks bright out but there's still a chilly wind ablowing here in North Kent.Quick trip to the bank this morning for DD, and a look around Wilkinsons then home for a nice corned beef salad lunch to use up my salady bits.Craft club this afternoon for a couple of hours which should be nice. Will have a rummage in my freezer to see what I can find for dinner tonight might be some fish for a change with some new potatos and runner beans
My DGS caught a 8lb carp on Saturday when fishing and was so chuffed with himself ,he only recently took up fishing after falling out with his girlfriend so I'm pleased its cheered him up a bit.
Slowly de-cluttering my small computer room as its getting difficult to move in there with all the stuff stashed,i.e. 8 different family 'tree's several hundred books, bags of god knows what. I have a tendency to bag things up and chuck in there to sort out later well if I don't sort it soon I won't be able to get in there !! So must make a start at some point today.
<<hugs to those in need >> and a bigto the rest of you
Have a great day

Floss - thank you. It is really a difficult situation, our client wants us because of our work ethic they dont want his trucks because of hos- however he did introduce us & set us up 10 years ago. Think I will forgo some of the profits and consider it an investement in our future as one day (hopefully soon) he will retire.
We are really really lucky that this is happening to us this year when loads of company's are going bust - I do believe in the saying -"what goes around comes around". If we wernt being considered for this new position then 100% we would be bankrupt.
Changing the subject - I have been on hold with the doctors for 20 mins to find they have no appointments today. Have kidney pain so they have agreed to test my sample & sort it that way. They want to be build more houses in our village but no plans for another surgery!! Makes me mad. (small rant now over!)0 -
Morning all!
Am off to see the nurse soon for my Depro and DH is going to see his doctor(I'm going in with him to hear what she has to say) Got 2 days off work:j have changed the bed and am doing 2 loads today - hope to get it dry outside - nice here so far.
Will search the freezers for some inspiration later for dinner tonight. Will need to have a few weeks on a tight budget with DH off sick from work.
(((hugs))) to those in need.
PP - hope you had a better night last night x
Halight - hope the teething isn't too painful for the twins, good luck with the gardening
off for a quick browse before the docs
TTFN xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Good morning everyone. Bright and sunny here this morning and thankfully the wind has died down. The forecast is for rain today however I've learned to take that with a grain of salt.
Today I'll be working on sorting the rest of the things we brought home from DD's. Not much OS happening except a quick tidy, the breakfast dishes and making spag bol sauce for dinner tonight. We'll have spicy sausages I got from the butcher's in it. They look lovely.
I'm also working on catching up with the things I do online including a bit of email. Hopefully that won't take too long, but if it does, I'll take a break by calling back in here.I managed to win a Cadbury choccie pack early this morning so looking forward to receiving that in about a month. :T
Hoping everyone has a peaceful and good day. ((((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))) to all who want/need them.

Good morning all. It's bright and pleasant here today.
I'm moping around today as I'm not feeling too good.I had to go to doctors yesterday for some antibiotics as I have a septic throat.I thought I just felt a bit off till it all developed.OH says he thinks it's his birthday as I can't talk.I feel better than yesterday though.
Have no idea what I'll be doing at all today, think I'll just stay in bed.
Have a good day everyone.
(((hugs))) to all that need them.0 -

Morning all............((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))) if you need one.
Starting to get a bit stressed about this moving lark, woke early this morning, could not get back to sleep.......so came through for my breakfast. Just 7 days to go before we get the keys. I need to go up into the loft and get a couple of crates down that I know are empty up there..........I might also get my antique sewing machine down. I am in two minds what to do with it. Its a fiddle bed which I think could be got working again, it sews ok, but the shuttle is stuck in its case, its one of the torpedo ones.........I might free cycle it, don't know what to do with it otherwise, its very heavy. There was a company that sent old hand wheel machines out to Africa, but I cannot for the life of me find the info.
More stuff to pack up today, we have to empty the wardrobes for 1st April so the chaps can move them for us.....thankfully there are wardrobes in the property so they can go straight in there. OH's wardrobe which is smaller than mine may go in the second bedroom to store quilts in, not quite made my mind up on that score yet.
Using up whats in the freezer for meals, so tonight is tomato pasta and salad. tomorrow sausage and mash. We had egg, chips and beans last night, so beans on toast for lunch with grated cheese over the top to use up the beans.
Thankfully the wind has died down and its a bright morning, we are going for a walk round to the house, see if there are signs that the work in the bathroom has been done and the other jobs tackled.......they were to fit a hook for the clothes line on the wall of the garage. I really do not want to have to buy another whirly, we would have to lift the pavious to the hammer the spike into the ground.
Need to put the BM on for a loaf.Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0
