  • I just wanted to update you all from yesterday.
I went to the doctors, feeling a bit like a little kid who had been naughty.

My doctor was great, he knew how i felt. I cried my eyes out.
Hes given me tablets and signed me off work for a month. He said i have to take the paper to the job centre to claim.

I feel better today. Im so sorry for making you all worried about me.

I want to say that yesterday was probably one of the lowest i have ever felt in my life and all your messages helped me feel better. I cnt thank you enough.

I am going to my sisters today to take my nephew to the park to help clear my head. Maybe sit on the swings. xxxx

  • Hi Blondie

Thanks for the update, I am glad it went well at the GP's. Going to the park sounds like a wonderful idea - no worrying today, take some time just for you and keep posting. x

A big :T to your GP for listening carefully and understanding. That's great news, and a medicinal trip to the park sounds good too. The healing power of swings, flowers and hopefully ducks too can't be underestimated.

Be gentle with yourself, eh? I'm really glad that you felt able to post here yesterday, and that it helped. Now where's that big bouquet of flowers smiley when I need it?

That's good that your GP was on your side, it took a lot of courage to go and talk to him! Well done you.

Nothing better than an afternoon in the sunshine, soak it up and enjoy the moment hun

:hello: Hey Blondie - I'm posting on both threads to say that I am SO GLAD to hear from you today!!! Well done for going to the doctors - like many of us I've been there myself and found my doctor to be WONDERFUL - sounds like yours is too. Soak up some Vit D in the sun - and we'll see you later x

I'm glad your doctor was helpful. There is light at the end of the depression tunnel, it just takes time. Last Feb I had a total breakdown and could really relate to your just not knowing what to do. I too realised I needed help and went to the doc. I was off work for the best part of a year and it was tough but now I'm so much better and really starting to make some difference in my life. I'm sure that you too will become in a position to get back on your feet but for now you have to give yourself some space to get well.
The worst that will happen is you'll go bankrupt -Not the end of the world, its only money and things in the end - and there are many stories on here where that was a real relief and a new start - which is what it is meant for. So please try to remember as much as you can that these feelings are temporary. Also it takes a little while to tweak the dose to get the best out of the medicine for you. So sorry to hear how tough its been for you, a lot of us have been through similar and I've found the support of strangers a real help. Hope you do too. Good Luck

Enjoy your day out with your nephew. Take time to yourself and enjoy doing the simplier things in life.

Good. Begin to enjoy life again. ;):)
Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.
