Hello everybody,
Just off to have shower and curl up on the sofa to watch Cold Case. DH had to have one of his front teeth out today. Looks a sight. Oh well, on the bright side he still has all his own hair.He had this huge abcess and nothing could be done except pull it out.
Had a house cleaning day today and caught up with ironing etc. Work tomorrow. Well I will be off. Hope you all have a nice day.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning everyone,
Still feeling pretty crook, I had hoped to be well enough to get dressed and go out, but guess it will have to wait until tomorrow.... not sure whether its the medication the Doc did say it was strong.
I was so cross this morning, OH was told on Friday to phone the surgery today re a letter from the Dr for the insurance company, I phoned and was told to take in the form that comes with the claim form for the Doc to fill in!!!!!!!! Why the h--- could they not have told him that on Friday????? They really make me sssssooooooooo maddddddddddddd...... apart from being inefficient they can also be very rude...... I would change Doctor, but we do not have a choice, it them or no-one, I did try to sign up with different Docs when we first moved here 6 years ago, but they have the district sewn up.
I am off to sort out some more washing and put it in the machine ready for tonight, I got yesterdays dry on the line. Will have to have a house cleaning blitz when I am feeling better, which might not be until next week. ho hummmmmmm. I am really beginning to wonder if I ever will be right again!!!!!

DAMMIT, I could have won £10 on last Wednesday's lottery if I'd bought a ticket! I just looked up the numbers cos I bought one for Saturdays' draw, and I basically always use the same numbers (based on things like family ages, house number etc) and realised that if I hadn't forgotten to buy a ticket, I could have had three numbers last Wednesday. DAMMIT again.

Good morning all
Congrats on the baby Michelle!!! Broody now!
Hugs to all the poorly people.
Just got back from the dentist £106 lighter  but at least I don't need another appointment - got myself in a right state about going...not been for years.
Just had a phone call about a new child, he's coming on Friday for a play and to look around.....fingers crossed!
The house is a tip as I really couldn't get motivated before the dentist trip, had a quick scout round town to pick up some bits and bobs. This afternoon will be spent trying to find the floor in DD's bedrooms - I know it was there on Friday morning - but 2 friends each home for tea sort of undid all the previous good work.
Brekkie - Cereal
Lunch - Just about to make a tuna mayo wrap.
Tea - Toad in the hole with roast veg.
Have a good one all."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Thanks for your congratulations everyone. :j I'm not very pregnant. Only about 5 weeks. I'm not keen on going mad telling everyone as both my sisters have suffered miscarriages, so i'm trying to take it quite easy. Only,my belly is already swelling. I suppose i could tell people for now that i've put on weight from being inactive while off work. I suppose they would have to be super observant anyway, but they are like vultures at work, waiting for the next bit of gosssip to spread around the staff room.
i'm being super productive this morning - tidied kitchen, got WM on, organised the kittens going for the snip and micro-chipping, and made some other phone calls. I feel focussed. Also sat and worked out that to have 11 months off on maternity leave would mean losing nearly £12,500 in wages. No wonder having a baby is so expensive. Best start saving up some more now.
sorry to hear you aren't feeling better yet tootles. sorry you are feeling ill as well bargainrzl. could it all be period related? my sister gets really achey just before in her legs and back.
kiwichick, i agree with poshpaws about the rats. When we had them last September they were a similar size, and came from next door feeding them breadcrumbs. Thats why we got the 2 cats - i don't want that problem again. rat-catcher is usually free as well, so its not too bad to sortout
I'm going to try and do a bit more before DH arrives home for lunch and to take me to the hospital.
Michelle, xx0 -

Hi Pawpurr
Been a busy weekend for me have done to 12hr shift ( mystery shopped on staturday, think it must have been this guys first time as was asking all sorts of questions that either made him stand out as a weirdo or a not to mystery shopper). Then got home last night to discover OH had spent most of the day a sleep in bed, leaving DS ans DD to their own devices, so house a bomb site and no ironing done. Which ment that instead of the bath I had planned I did the ironing , and tidied the house.
My last shift in work tonight as I start my new job next weekend. The New one is closer to home a 10 min walk compared to having to leave 2hrs early to make sure I get there as have to get two buses that both only run every half hr and if miss one could be waiting for ages.
Missed my lecture this morn as have been running around trying to find my passport OH put it somewhere safe but can't remember where. So have put on WM and TD as DS had wet the bed feel so sorry for him when this happens as he's 7 now and finds in so embarrasing.
Breakfast: Ceral
Lunch Hummas pitta
Dinner: probably staff meal, (though figured out last night thathow many calories in a meal its bout 1500  )
Have a goodday all
