Sleep to Live Beds

Me and the lady are looking to buy a new bed as suffering a bit from back problems, which brings me on to.....
Has anyone bought a 'SLEEP TO LIVE' bed????? They are by far the most expensive beds, and claim lots of things. They get you trying out a 'special' single bed that measures pressure etc etc and gives you an indication of what sort of mattress you should go for. Must admit i'm always a tad worried about these sort of things, wondering whether they are just clever (if u can call it that) marketing tactics.
Anyone who has bought one your feedback would be appreciated

I have been looking at them too, I have Fibromyalgia and am looking for a new bed to help me sleep better and give me relief from pain. Hard to find info on them though!Bargainbelle :T0

We purchased a Series 900 Sleep to Live bed and must say that we are very disappointed. We purchased the bed from Bensons who only had a Super King Size Series 900 bed in their showroom. We ordered a King Size bed as previous beds of this size had been fine. However, we have found that the Sleep to Live bed tapers down along each edge loosing approx. 2-3 inches of sleeping space on each side. We tried to express our concerns to both Sleep to Live and Bensons within a few days of receiving the bed and found both unwilling to help. We are seriously considering purchasing another bed within a month of receiving this bed. Bed looks great, but highly disappointed with the customer service. :mad:0

We decided against going for the 'Sleep to Live' bed, too expensive and couldn't really find out that much about it, except that it may be linked to another company dealing in beds which has changed its name (always a tad wary of companies that do that), though thats yet to be confirmed.
We opted for a fairly cheap and simple king size bed.
'Tempur' matresses seem to have a good write up, and can back things they are claiming, so that may well be what we look at next, otherwise, i think dreams is the place to go.:rotfl:0 -
We bought a Sleep to Live bed from Bensons and love it. We bought the 500 seriese and paid about £1500 for it. We bought it following a recomendation from a friend who had bought a 700 seriese.
We had nothing but problems when we purchased our last bed from Dreams. I would not go there again, we finished up having a refund after 3 replacement mattresses, I also found out that the 10year guarantee that they said we had was not a guarantee at all but an extended warranty.
If you have got the money get a sleep to live.
Richarda, if you try the bed in the shop and find that you roll off the edge on that then you have no comeback, you got what you bought but if the edge on the shop one is solid and you dont roll off then you may have a case.0 -
I found this thread very interesting as I saw an ad for Bensons yesterday offering £100 off these beds (no actual prices mentioned) and was wondering about them.0

Lucky you found this thread, hey? What were you doing? Were you so overjoyed at your purchase that you googled it, so you could spread the word? :rolleyes:0 -
If I worked for them do you think I would be telling Richarda to go back into the shop!!!
I posted this because like many people on these sites I have had a good experience and like to tell people when I have had a good experience not just when I have a bad one!!!!0 -
