Ditto for Envirofone, and I was speaking to PO manager - she had no idea. I pointed they've been sending mail to Freepost You've Framed for years and there's no town or postcode on those (I've never posted one - and I don't watch it). She insisted I put my name and address on the back (whick I should have done anyway) and she accepted it. It arrived at Envirofone the next day.
  • Had e-mails through yesterday afternoon to say payment for the first lot of phones had been credited to my Argos card. Just waiting for Argos to have a sale now!

Yep me too - recieved email yesterday saying card was credited - phoned the number on the card this morning and its on there.

It seems that cheques are the quicker option.

All in all a good service that keeps you informed along the way both via emails and online where you can log on to see whats happening.

Will use again but just wish it was a little bit faster - mine took about 4 weeks total turnaround. Still not too bad though considering they may be busy due an upturn in business from this site and others.

PS Speedy the argos sale ends today - must be another very soon - nearly easter.
Aint got a signature - as I cant think of anything world wisely to say.

I have received my cheque(s) as well. I am very happy with the whole process, it was completely hassle free. I would recommend envirophone to anyone who wished to sell their old mobile phone.

Been thinking about trading in an unused 6030 that I received with my new contract. Previously only worth around £40 in Argos credit. Checked today it's worth just over £62 in Argos credit so it's off in the post this afternoon!!!!

Now if they would only pay the same amount for my old 6230............
    Matched betting profits since 11/10/06 = £1,554

I'm really glad everyone's making some cash out of this. Good on you all.

They are a bit slow in giving you the cash, but I guess they didn;t know what hit him (with over 20,000 views of this thread, if half of those sent a phone...... ). But the way I see it is I spent about 10 minutes of my time on the website and sending off the jiffy and got cash for basically, doing nothing with no worries about PapPal charge backs or being ripped off.

AND ticked the environemntal box in my conscience.
Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.

    Hi,

Just sold my old Nokia 6310i that was siting in a draw. I'll report back if
I see any cash for the phone.

  • Just a quick question....would envirofone put a sim in the phone to check that it works properly?? As my 7250i does power up, but does not accept any sims... Will envirofone still accept it?
Its better to close your mouth and appear stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt...:p
