Hi GG hope you get sorted soon - I have replied to your pm - I need MORE info... yeah really more! LOL
Lurker 1972 - sorry to hear you are finding life difficult too. My job ended a couple a months ago, I have just started a temping job but I hate it and wanted to walk out on day 2 (but didn't). I had an interview for a different job today so am hopeful still... That one is more local and hopeful more the right kind of challenge... There are still jobs out there you just need to try different strategies to get one... This last interview I got by posting a CV on monster (with minimal personal details)...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Yo Yo Yo Yo!
How is everyone? Hello to the regulars (I do appreciate your posts, Thank you!), once again hello to those in the shadows and to those who are on the cusp of the wave about to reveal themselves and cast of their lurker status and post on my diary - feel free!
Yesterday was a very nice day, even if I say so myself.
I climbed a MOUNTAIN of chores so I did:- Two loads of washing
- Two loads of washing line dried (just need to put away as its all on the bed!)
- Haven't used the tumble - esp as the Electricity Board wrote telling us that wan £50 a month of us! Yeah whatever! So no tumbel drying for us
- Walked the dog
- Rode the horse
- Unloaded dishwasher and put away
- Reloaded dishwasher and put on
- Cooked dinner
- Bit of general tidying and pottering
- Got two calls from 3 jobs that I applied for! One job at interview and another agency want me to register
- Met up with my besty for sarnie and coffee (she paid - lovely chum!)
- Bought local papers and have seen two jobs to apply for (so did that just now)
- Watched The Apprentice!
- Eaten breakfast! LOL
- Put on a load of washing and got it on the line - no tumble for us!
- Done some washing up
- Fed pets
- Applied for two jobs (fingers xd)
I still have to:- Have a bath (going to read mags that chum gave me whilst I soak)
- Walk the dog
- Consider starting running - tho not sure its fair on the neighbours to have to watch me huff and puff up and down the street....
- Do something with horse (must find the brand new fly mask that horse has deposited somewhere in its field - that will take an age as field is massive! I am not buying another one, as that is number two that has gone missing in action. Horse will just have to suffer without one!!!!)
- Sign on
- Pay some cash in at Mr GG's bank (he has been doing an MSE challenge without knowing it - Sealed pot one - he opened it as he is like a kid with a present and needs to know what is inside! Well guess what I am paying in £1k today!!! Not my account sadly, but his. Still its all good)
- Do some baking - got chocolate cravings and nothing to trough......
The closest Mr GG and I get to getting our holiday fix is by watching the Sky Holiday Channel! LOL. It does help that its been sunny here recently. I'd also rather not get further into debt by taking a holiday as we can't afford one, and if we did go, essentially we would be. Plus getting the dog taken care of, normally works out an extra third of the entire holiday cost!!!
I better go and get in this bath before the water goes cold!!!!
Fellow tightwads, I don't want to hear those wallets and purses opening. I want those spending diaries kept clear, I want lots of NSDs. You hear??

The latest update
Happy Friday Y'all. Hope you are all having a nice evening and enjoying a somewhat cooler temp. Quite refreshing to have some rain, as the heat has been, well, hot! LOL.
I have an interview all lined up. Shall let you know how that goes. Its for a role that I have done before and I plan to beg, sorry I mean, wow them and blow their socks off. All above board of course. Let's hope they are generous on the old cash front, as a nice wage would really be amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-zing.
Been a busy day, been helping my friend out today, in return for a tank of petrol, so not bad exchange really I suppose, plus all drinks and snacks paid for. I am so tired. Barely have the energy to type.
MrsCMR, bless you. What can I say? Angel. I shall bear that in mind as Mr GG mentioned again today about a week somewhere.
SH, bless you too, for your motivation butt kick and prep talk. I do need them. BTW you have a fresh PM. Hope it makes sense.
No chores completed today, though I really am chored out.
Things to do tmw:- Horse and dog, naturally, ones four legged friends can't sort themselves out
- Empty dishwasher still (the last cycle didnt work properly)
- Empty sink of dirty plates that Mr GG has filed there
- Put clean laundry away, only one load, so all good
- Wash towels and dry them
- Reload washing machine ready to go with next lot, so just have to hit GO GO GO
- Compile shopping list, real list not fantasy if cash was no object type one
- Figure out what to wear for tmw night's drinks out
- Prepare for interview
Get meal planning and stick to it. Waste not want not. Think of the starving kids.
