The Latest Update
Happy Hot Weather All!
Another scorchio day.... hopefully it will help dry the load of washing on the line that got soaked yesterday!
OK, on with the important bits now.
Today I must:- Eat (am starving!)
- Put another load of washing on
- Hang out washing to line dry
- Put away the two loads of washing currently socialising in the kitchen
- Put away another load that is sitting on the bed
- Empty dishwasher
- Water Hanging Basket
- Decide whether to empty TopCashBack account and where to send the money
- Check PayPal Balance as think have £9 in there now
- Look for jobs online
- Think about tackling Armageddon (then push it to back of mind til another day, actually must try and get some boxes to put Ebay stuff in)
- Prepare bits and bobs for the slow cooker - do I need to defrost my frozen sausages first and if so for how long?
- Sort out the pets
- Watch some TV (a girl needs a break!)
- Eat again
In fact, I am going to start my list of to do's with putting a load on, then having breakfast whilst watching TV. See I can still multi task, the skill has not left me! YET.
Being as two of my cards 0% deals expire in Sept and as I am unemployed have a horrid feeling I'll be stuck with these cards when they revert to a normal APR. What to do What to do? Any suggestions???
Hope everyone is doing well and keeping chipper. Don't let the debt drag you down and don't beat yourself up if you cant make overpayments cos at least a min payment is something. Even better if you are no longer adding to your debt. I haven't used my horrid MBNA card for AGES. So proud of my impulsive shopper type self, so I am.

Can you try and get a LOB card? Good luck with the list.

Hi Mrs GG,
Your posts are always very entertaining! Lucielle already suggested what I was going to, a LOB card, think Barclaycard do one at about 4.9%! Will check back later to see if you have scored anything off your list x
ETA: Congrats on the loan being almost finished0 -
Thanks for the replies.
Re: LOB card. I already have two, one with M&S and one with Citi. I am not sure that I would qualify for a LOB as I am without a job?! Hopefully things will pick up job wise, I will still see if I can qualify for one tho.

The Latest Update
Happy Monday to those in Employment Land, if I remember correctly, Monday is a day that is the hardest to get through!
I am still plugging away at job hunting, and to summarise, am getting nowhere fast at all. Though I do have another interview lined up so I am preparing for that. Again, not sure its an ideal job, for a start its a contract position, so it would tide me over for quite awhile. However, have got to be offered the blooming thing yet, and no doubt there will be plenty of other people out there who are going to be interviewed also.
On the MSE front, not too good. Treated myself over the weekend, but thats ok cos a) I deserve it and b) I paid cash!
This morning I think I may have been zapped by the speed police, though I was doing less than 35 in a 30 and I was behind another car, so I am mega hoping that I should be ok. It seems the cut off for those vans is 35, so I may be lucky, yet the year I am having, be just my luck to get 3 points and £60 fine.
Housework has lapsed again, despite my Mary Poppins efforts. The wash bin is overflowing and I may have time to do one load today. Have had such a busy weekend!! Its crazeeeeeee.
In general I am feeling a bit down and out and sorta stuck between a rock and a hard place, no job, no money, no plans for horse based stuff as no funds, no future plans really other than get rid of the debt. Not to mention everyone seems to be having children, which again is one of our long term plans and had we not had spent ourselves stupid we would be thinking about adding some mini peeps to our family. Very difficult to get head around when you know that its through our own mad spending that we are having to refocus all our efforts on debt rather than our real aims in life. But then as I said to Mr GG, we could drop down dead tomorrow and none of this would matter anyways. We have to pay it back and soon so that we can have our lives back. I refuse to be a slave to the £ forever and ever. Its bad enough when you do have cash to spend let alone when you are repaying it.
Enough already, I am boring myself to tears here.
Hope you all have a good day, work hard, don't work late, its Monday, hit gym, hit the kitchen then feet up in front of the TV, and if you can get through the day and its a NSD, then WAY TO GO.
PS: thanks to F_F for the PM.

Hi GG - I've finally stopped procrastinating and vegging - altho you now need to nag ME to sign on as not got round to it yet which is just stupid. I think I have just been in complete denial.
Have submitted expenses to various organisations so hopefully will get some money from that.
I am doing a diet but it is proving to be mega expensive! Need to find a cheaper way of losing weight....
