Long time no speak, soz about that, been bit busy in housewife, pet looker-afterer and debt repayment land.

A big hello and high five to my regulars (bless you all), a slightly bigger hello to the newbie posters esp KissJen (got be extra nice to keep em sweet ya see) also to any lurkers out there, who are itching to post and reveal themselves and an alrighty to any surfers who happened to land on my diary by mistake!! LOL.

This heat is murder, seriously, its a killer. There is no escape from it. The dog is panting its behind off at the mo, so I have covered the poor thing in drenched teatowels to get the dog to cool down. And to think people leave dogs in cars in this kind of heat?????

First off, I am supposed to be cramming for some interviews, alas I can't. Its too hot, MSE is distracting me, I'm too hot, I have so much stuff to do other than research and I know I gotta do it, oh and did I mention I am toooooooo hot??

This Golden Goose is currently slowing roasting from the inside out and it aint a pretty sight. Only the weirdos and superweirdos will be licking their lips at the sight of me at the minute.

Heavens know how minging I am going to look suited and booted for the interviews in this heat. Personally I think they should allow beach wear attire at this time of year? On second thoughts, scrap that idea!! Certainly would create a bit of a talking point in the interview eh? "So tell me, what was the inspiration behind today's interview attire?"

I have not heard back from the interview a week ago, I chased it up. No news. Why is it that some Recruitment Consultants are so far up your butt when they are flogging, sorry I mean, advising you about a new role that has become available and then as soon as you have been for interview they then turn into "oddbodbetty"? Freaks. Lose the attitude.

I am registering with another agency this week also, so its all go go go.

In terms of debt, my totals are coming down and I need to do a new total and I hope I am under the £20k mark, I really really do. I still need to move the money from TCB into my current account and pay back Mr Branson, as he looks like he can't afford to get his hilights done without my repayment..... so if i overpay he can also treat himself to a nice body perm??!

The house is kinda, well how to put, a sh*thole! Though saying that Mr GG cleaned the bathroom so that is all shiny, for the time being.

I had a mooch on the Flylady Thread. Let me tell you, I like what I see. Organisation and lists and order! This week is a bad week for me as I have not a lot of time, however, I will get my name on that challenge and I am going to print it off and stick in the kitchen so I can use the list as a prompter to get all domestic goddess like, or at least as close to that as I can get, does a domestic goddess ever have that greasy hair look (only from where its been too hot and trying to retain any type of hairdo in this heat is frankly impossible)?

Mr GG and I have made up. Its all been forgotten about. So all is ok again.

I went to the Drs today just to quiz them on a couple of things, nothing to worry about and the Dr gave me some reassurance that I wasn't harbouring any horrid disease and it was just insect bites. So I tell Mr GG that I had an altercation in the carpark at the Drs, nothing serious, but male drivers can be sooo flipping selfish.

I thought that mentioning my screamin match at the Drs to Mr GG, would evoke the normal human response of "Oh yeah, forgot you were going, how did you get on and what were you going for?" Not Mr GG, completely glosses over the fact and moves on to some other topic, so I then butt in and say "So nice to pop in and see Dr X as I have not been for awhile and I do worry when I haven't seen them for awhile as life is flying by and you never know what could be happening in their lives and I wanted to make sure everything was ok at the surgery and that Dr X wasn't being overworked" - again blank response.

Then it was like something clicked in and I got the response of "so why did you go to the Drs?" Talk about flipping thick.

Grey's Anatomy! Where to start, where to finish? Oh the tears!! I am so sad its over. Does anyone know if its the final final ever ever ever? I kept thinking as I watched the last episode, where are they going to take this, its getting a bit flat and then WHAM BAM THANK YOU MAM SOCK IT TO YA, the twist with Little McCutie - OMalley. I spotted it just before the reveal, I was shouting at the TV. So sad. So sad. Its been emotional Grey's Anatomy, way to go. You'll be surely missed.

I was going to order some horsey items online when I happened to be passing my local tack store, so popped in and discovered that they had the items I wanted that were almost a £1 cheaper than online and I didnt have to pay a courier fee!! Whoop Hurrah Whoop. So I have asked them to see if they can get me some other stuff in, so hope that its cheaper too! Also they gave me extra loyalty point, cos they were feeling generous. Think its the sun, makes people do nice things for others.

*Sings in a sing song voice* Still not used my credit caaaaaaa-aaaaaaa-ards! I am so proud of myself, yes I aaaaaammmmmmm.

This time last year, I would be blasting and hitting them hard. If I wanted something, then I (ahem, MBNA) would pay for it. I could easily spend £200+ in one big outing, though mainly it would pay for meals and meals and the odd clothing items and tons of petrol.

Don't get me wrong, I loved spending sprees as it made me feel minted, like I had money, I had a life of disposable cash, that I could have whatever I want. Its still true, I can have whatever I want, its just that now I choose to use my own money to purchase things instead of creditors. Check me out, all grown up and mature, and more to the point, responsible and MSE savvy.

So next time you want to spend money, think I should really be spending my own money and not the credit card company's! Keep the plastic at home out of harms way, if you spend your own cash you really are buying at the price on the label, buy on a credit card and you will pay the Buy It Now price, though if you don't settle your CC in full each month, those £55 jeans or whatever are going to end up costing you quite a bit more!

(Obv major crises excluded from this statement!!!).

    Til the next installment..........

No heat wave here...it's gonna rain but to be honest very glad. Don't think my blue to white to red skin would take blistering heat very well - peelie wallie we are.
