The Latest Update
Quite frankly, I am pig sick.
Nope, not got swine flu........ yet.
My interview went really well and it was indicated very clearly to me that I was exactly what they were looking for, ok so they had a number of other people to see, and I would find out this week. Well the days they mentioned that I would find out by have been and gone. I've checked my email, just in case, I got a Dear John that way. Nothing. Not a sausage.
I also went to an agency this week and registered with them for everything and anything. They seem much more professional and posivitive though no doubt it will take awhile for any assigments to come through.
Am so disappointed and wonder how long this really can go on for. Luckily I have other responsibilities in my life to keep me occupied otherwise, I think I would be a danger to myself! LOL. There is only so much daytime TV and only so many times you can look at the websites, I have learnt that its not possible to magic up jobs for me to apply for.
In particular, I am finding not working really tiring. Sounds silly I know. The other night I went to bed so very very early and I woke up four hours later, but then dozed off again for another snooze siesta and so had oodles amount of sleep.
Literally, this instant I just got an email from a local agency, saying thanks but no thanks, we'll keep you on file *meaning under the pile of all the other CVs and no apology for keeping me waiting for two bloody weeks*.
Right, am pulling myself together now.
Today I have been very idle. Though did manage to walk the dog and do the shop. Had an early start today, so hopped out of bed, threw clothes on and legged it, not even made the bed yet. Reminds me of being a student, except I am not sharing with someone who burns holes in my saucepans or leaves hairs in the bathroom.
Have had GM chasing me as I still havent sent the book off that I sold. So bad! So will do that today, before they whip the £3 off me! Need to find packaging to put book in, otherwise that is more expense and my profit from the book won't be worth diddly squit.
Guys and Gals - cheer me up! Purlleease.

It is, for sure.
Mr GG keeps suggesting other locations for me to try. Usually a scowl answers his suggestion pretty quickly.** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

not sure I can contribute anything useful
I know exactly what you mean about not working being tiring, I'm on daily afternoon naps already!!!! very nice n all but not helpful - daytime telly is bad when you find yourself talking to the people & then shouting at them cos they ignore what you said in the first place....
methinks you need a cuppa (wann join me & my friend in about half an hour?) a bikkie (just one mind, GM tv bikin diet starts on Monday) and a four legged friend to cuddle for half an hour, although probably not the horse.....10 minutes my cat purring at me seems to lift the lowest of lows....fractionally anyway
can't reme, ber which diary I was reading but someone was having a bad day.....so listed some positives...one of which being own teeth & hair........am sure you've not gone past that stage yetI do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0 -

Indeed a cuddle with the mutt does wonders.
Loving the positives you listed above. Made me chuckle so it did! Don't tell me who else is having a bad day like me, cos we'll just drown in self pity together!!!
Have given up on dieting and any weight I may have lost is back firmly in place. Drat. Drat and I so crave sugary things at the minute.
