    Hi SH,

sorry not been popping in much of late, been manic! Seem to be getting there now though. Thanks for posting on my diary :-)

How annoying about the car and extra petrol....still you have it to look forward to tomorrow.

How's the job front coming along?

Hi Karen - waiting to hear back on Monday's interview... nothing else in the pipeline which is a bit scary altho it traditionally does go dead for the summer and normally pick up in September... Here's hoping!

DS has his school play and MIL is coming EEK EEK so spent most of this morning tidying but the place still doesn't look great! The kids are getting haircuts later and then we are going to come home and have tea before going to see Harry Potter! So busy day but with some positive highlights...

Hope you and any other readers are ok? I have been feeling all hot and sneezy today... so hypochondriac mind jumps from hay fever right thro to swine flu!!! Oh well - hoping it is just hayfever....

Apparently - my kids school - there is a kid with swine flu! Scary wary!

DS's school play went well. Kids hair now done. Eating tea that was prepared yesterday and then off to harry potter! woohoo!

My MIL had bought DD a dress and some new crocs and gave her £1 for her school report - she gave DS £10 for his great SATS results ! She didn't react last week apparently because she was so amazed at his good results... so much better than her other grandson's! Hehehe

Harry Potter was really good... my DD (6) fell asleep just before the scariest bit so that was great....

My MIL has also offered us her sat nav - she bought it for £150 a while ago - used it once and then stuck it in her wardrobe.... - I nearly bought one this week as I got lost on the way to an interview - luckily I had allowed loads of time so did make it... I didn't buy it and now I won't have to - fabarooni.... she also confirmed that the money would be in our bank account tonight for the car - she is fantastic....

When I first met her I used to shake I was that scared of her - but over the years I have found her bark to be worse than her bite - and her generosity is truly overwhelming and life changing... I had stingy parents so she has role modelled something really special and made me want to be generous to my kids in turn....

    Lucielle - thanks

Got new car today 04 plate. It was gorgeous! Air con I think needs fixing tho as it got colder but not cold.... It was a lovely drive home tho - and the fuel ecnomy is between 42 and 62 so averaging around 52 ish which is fab!

Had to pick kids up early from school tho. DS is ill (but then so am I). Apparently we have all the symptoms of .......

    a cold.

Hopefully not swine flu as we don't have a temperature....

    Hope everyone else is okay!
