I've felt a bit better today. Took the kids to the library and got some books out I've wanted for a while... I haven't spent much - less than £2 but OH went out and bought luxuries so that has blown the grocery budget. Just found out as well that he has spent about £130 on a card that I didn't know about.... Dreading my CC this month too as lots of car work went on it... Just want it to arrive so know how bad it is... may give the card people a ring so I can get an idea of the balance....
We are way overspending currently - although that hasn't been helped at all by the car situation... hopefully now we have 1 working car things should improve... although have already bought wiper blades for it and identified that ideally the Air con needs a recharge which could cost up to £90 !Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

SH, where do you get car's air conditioning recharged? Do most garages do it or just a few? Jeep needs done and our local garage doesn't do it so I'd no idea where to look.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Apparently kwik fit do it but on the net they seem to have an appalling reputation... Apparently you can get mobile air con engineers - who should drain your air con, check for leaks etc prior to recharging it. My new car is a vauxhall - so think will take it there...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I'll have a look on the web and maybe ask garage who'll do MOT if there's anyone they can recommend. Well done with the diet. Grandad brought round Toblerone last night, I'm sure triangular calories don't count as much as normal ones.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0
