Hope today goes ok SH, x
  • Needs must. You are doing the right thing. Some people are plain stupid. Too stupid for their own good. What on earth did they expect.

Hope today was ok and not too unbearable.

Thanks for the support guys! Well finish at lunchtime tomorrow and then go to my interview lol

They wanted me to stay a couple of weeks longer - and described my work as "stunning" and "brilliant" but still weren't prepared to offer me a better contract or reinstate the original contract so had to cut my losses! They are going to give a good reference to the agency so what a mixed message!

The agency told me they'd sort the jobseekers bit out for me if nec

Well OH weighed himself today - he has lost 3lbs in weight since Saturday and seems to have adapated better to the diet now. I fed everyone meatballs in a home made pasta sauce with miniscule portions of pasta a la diet - and everyone loved it! I thought this was funny since I had liquidised green beans which none of us like and peppers and mushrooms that the kids often won't eat. I also hid quorn meatballs among the real ones and no-one noticed. That meal was more within budget I think - about £3 for the meat and then perhaps a couple of quid for the rest.... So far diet compliance is reasonably good

I have to say spending has gone out the window recently - my spending in my sig is out by over £200 currently I think! Not helped by buying my son an outfit to wear to the funeral. Compromised on black trousers - a bit jean/chino like and a white linen shirt but even that set me back £23!

    Anyway bye for now

Posts welcome! Hope you are all doing okay - feel free to share!

  • The sun has brightened my day, hope it does yours too.

Don't panic about the blip on spending, we all have them now and again. Just rein it back in now before it gets any worse.

Well done on the cheap meal! Sounds nice.
