Hi too little emms, mrs C, SC, Raini! :TThanks for your posts.... Raini - I did try to make it a little funny - sob sob doesn't actually attract many readers LOL!
Today was actually as good a day as it could be - so your good wishes came true. :A We got to the funeral 20 mins early despite setting off fairly late morning and stopping for a toastie on the way. The relatives at the funeral were really pleased to see me as originally I had said I might not be able to make it. The service really was a celebration of life rather than grief so that was nice. We chatted with relatives we'd not seen in years and the church put on a fab spread. We set off home about 7pm and have not long been in. We met up with my brother at a service station which was really nice - and he bought us all drinks bless him! :cool:We had quite a good laugh with my sis and her partner on the drive to and from and my son - generally enjoyed the day!
My MIL is taking my DD to school in the morning and my DS will probably just go in late - not sure about that one. OH will need to go on his motorbike to work as still not got confirmation that his car is fixed! I haven't dropped my car keys off yet - but my Dad thinks it could be quite expensive to resolve.... So far I have only agreed to pay £55 for a diagnosis... I am sure I will let you all know more once I know:eek:
Not heard back from interview yet
but the agency and the interviewer kept missing each other in phone tag so as far as I know no-one has been told the outcome yet....
Hope you all have a good day tomorrow - and thanks again all for posting - it really does make a difference:AAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Be kind to yourself SH - you've had a very emotionally draining two days not to mention all the hassle with the job! Anyway you can spoil yourself a little? Chocolate and wine works for me!
