do you have a local "businesswomens network" in your area - ours is quite good, it is not just for self employed women, but for professionals and is a "nice" networking thing.....generally over lunch :o

Try Weetu as well - again, although it is primarily for women wanting to set up business on their own, it could be helpful for general networking as there are several mentors etc about.....might be worth searching or a phone call.?

It is local to me, but there must be similar things going on all over the UK I guess.

Thanks for that hypno. Not in the right area for weetu - have found some local networking groups however they seem more geared to the private business owner that people like me.... Might give it a go at some point... May go back to another professional branch meeting and see what that turns up and chase up the person who offered to help me get upgraded....

I have signed on again - procrastination over so making some small steps at least...

Off to town tomorrow to meet an agency and then back for the interview for a specific job... Then DD wants me to take her to see Coraline - her treat bless her as she has more money than us!!!:o Bless - I will make it up to her when I am earning again.

Chased up interview expenses for the interview that got me fired - they have agreed to pay train fare etc so will get £65.60 back there at least....:rotfl:
