    Hi SH,

So I'm guessing the interview went well?! I find getting hopes up ends in disappointment, but not talking about it much seems to have a different outcome - glad had a nice day with your sister!

Off to bed soon, cos sooo tired, nite xx

Hi Swinstie - hope the interview went well but the interviewer had a real poker face so who knows? Apparently he is like that with everyone... I came most alive at the end of the interview - just hope I did enough but like you I need to go to bed. I should have been in bed 40 minutes ago but my train got in really late so needed some unwind time. Will pay for it tomorrow tho in terms of trying to stay awake at work!

Life is very complicated suddenly. We had a bereavement at the weekend (expected) and I need time off for the funeral but because of my recent interview time off that is going to go down very badly. I kind of hope I get the job I went for today in that I will feel more comfortable then taking time out for the funeral - if I don't then it's going to be tricky. I also get paid by the hour currently. I have had a day off a week for 3 weeks and next week would make 4 so you can see I am also significantly down moneywise! OH may go with DS but really it is my blood relative not his.... The meeting I postponed from today is now due to take place the day of the funeral....:o

Keeping my fingers crossed re new job! Not long to wait to find out at least. It is amazing how everything seems to happen at once when you need time off - and then it can be mnoths before it is needed again.

    Good luck,

Cried today..... Didn't get the job - feel absolutely gutted. Still hate where I am but don't feel I can just walk out altho OH would let me....

Talked to the agency a bit about my feelings - and they are going to try and clarify a few things for me. They have also promised I will be paid on time this week for both weeks owed so here's hoping. I've said to the agency if I can't have time off for interviews then I might as well be on the dole - so they are going to try and communicate that more diplomatically! They've promised to call me back tomorrow...

Not asked for the funeral date yet was too busy feeling miserable and trying to hide it without "going there" as well!

SH - very sorry about the job - can you get any feedback to help you? I think very often though there are other reasons than the interview as to why someone does not get a job - e.g. an applicant not from an agency so costing less!

Keep going - you're doing something brilliantly to get these interviews so maybe just a matter of time.

    Maggie
