Thanks everyone for your support :T- really needed those posts!

Told today by my manager on my current assignment that they will finish me up because I went to an interview!!! :eek:As it endangers their project and shows lack of commitment! :mad:But because my work is so good - not today - they will decide over the weekend what day to finish me up! :eek:Then went on to say that because they were such a brilliant company "they would do right by me!!! How does sacking someone for being open and honest about wanting a day off equate to we are a brilliant company???

In case you were wondering - I can't just walk out as wouldn't even qualify for job seekers allowance then!

The only good news is that I am still being rung up or texted about jobs - so there are "other fish in the sea" for me to go after! And the agency are really shocked by the person's treatment of me and therefore appear "on side" which they wouldn't be if I walked out....:o

I thought they took you on a temporary basis!?! Don't get their problem??? Their loss SH.

Keep smiling, the right job will come by for you soon xx
  • OMG - soooooooooooooooo their loss. Let's hope that the replacement they get is a total waste of space and they then realise how MEGA you are. Eeeejits. So really they are. So much for honesty is the best policy. All I can say, is, in your shoes, I would do what is required. No more. No less. Sod them.

I have a feeling you'll be snapped up REAL soon.
