Lucielle - I will try your tip with brown paper tomorrowThanks for sharing these gems from the book.
Hope work goes ok tomorrow and isn't too much of a shock to the system!
I got the latest Grey's Anatomy for xmas and have deliberately saved it up for when I go back to work - watching 1 or 2 episodes per night for a few weeks should help make work more bearable.(all my favourite tele is on too late at night or on satellite which we don't have:o). OH also ordered Private Practice Series 2 for me which didn't arrive in time for xmas - hopefully be able to watch that soon too!

If I moved this case to another room, it would look so much better and wouldn't get cluttered as it wouldn't be so easy to just put stuff on. So I can appreciate what you say about clearing one shelf.
Craft stuff has been cleared out of here, and is now cluttering the dining room table instead. Like you, if it was better organise, would do more with it.
We also don't have any coffee tables in here as they are clutter magnets - we still seem to build up clutter tho in here so I need to think about what else I want to keep in the lounge and what sort of storage would help with that..... Deep!
The book kind of suggests that if you can create one oasis of calm, organised space it will be easier to then branch out to other rooms or areas or your house / workplace etc (life).
Sadly - I really should go to bed now if I am going to remotely cope tomorrow!:eek:Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Managed to get up on time today so so far so good. 75p in total on scratchcards this morning so not bad! I should hit payout on one by Thursday.
I will try the brown paper method as don't have any blotting paper or kitchen towel (the latter is too expensive - the kids used to spill something and use a whole roll to mop it up!!).. Thanks for the tips tho - if the brown paper doesn't work - I'll buy some kitchen roll!
I need to go and brush my teeth and do my make up now - too scary to go in without a mask on first day back LOL
Hope you all have a good day! Looking forwards to watching Grey's tonight!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I got rid of my coffee table as I found it was a clutter magnet too! I also try my best to get units with doors so you can't see any mess. It definitely makes you feel better when the place is apparently tidy!!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

Our roads were reasonably clear - despite -7 temperatures until I got to the road work is on. That and the car park are appalling!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
