Last night didn't go to plan

Went to collect DS and they weren't ready so brought him back later.

OH went to bed as soon as I had given him tea!

DD went to bed about an hour after I got home - didn't really get a chance to play with her which was a shame.

DS - suddenly realised his gym kit needed washing so was doing that until late.

Did watch Greys but kept getting interrupted by DS so wasn't haven of peace I was looking for. Decided to sneakily watch an extra episode - taking me 45 minutes past my bedtime. Went to bed.... Couldn't sleep got up for an hour and half and finally got to sleep on the safe just after 12.30am only to be up at 6.30am this morning.

It has snowed here over night altho it doesn't look enough to stop me going to work sadly. May check how badly it has snowed at work before setting off... A few people have had car accidents in the snow and ice near work!

hope you all have a good day

Spoke too soon - apparently it is gridlocked near where I work. It took me 45 mins to do 7 miles so I rang work and they told me the snow was really bad there with loads of road closures so I turned around and came home again - which took me nearly an hour! Will have to do what I can from home today. OH is probably going to borrow my car as he thinks it will be safe than his motorbike! Both kids are in school at the moment but if the snow keeps up they could be sent home.

  • Ooh, SH that's horrid. Hope you get something done! We're expecting snow here today so as soon as it starts I'll think about beginning my 40mile trip home! Don't want to get stuck after yesterday's escapades by the side of the motorway!

Hi CSA and L - to be honest I was really pleased ROFL just have to pretend to be sad for work's sake. There are things I can do from home - so really need to do them.

I have opened email and some relevant web content - and packed the dishwasher lol

I agree CMD - I now have 3 candles burning, a lavender incense stick, my lovely tiffany lamp is on, fairly lights over the fire. My xmas tree and lights are still up so they are all on too - and it looks very magical. Cheering up as we speak. Do need to make sure I produce something today tho so as not to naff my boss off.
