did you get the day off then? i would love some time off work ...although i cant complain really
Hi El - in theory I have worked from home today - in practice I really struggled to motivate myself. In the end I have after a sleep and watching some more Grey's managed to produce a presentation I am proud of. Hopefully that will then get me back in a productive mode for tomorrow.

I am assuming that I won't be able to get into work tomorrow - if I am wrong then I could be up a creek without a paddle as am not in bed yet!

In other news - it looks like I may be able to get a free, fairly new bed for my guest room which would be great! :money:Especially as my xmas money has been mentally spent and some physically spent - several times over :rotfl::eek::rotfl:

In picking up my DD from school today I ended up walking a mile - and my knee and leg are now very swollen - so currently taking lots of nurofen and hoping that I am not over doing it!

  • I won £5 on a free scratchie last week, almost popped with the excitement!

OH was at home today as he works at a school and it was shut, I went in, saw the pain cases, none of the others made it so I got my nurse to dig me out of the drift I slid, sorry parked in, and came home.

Sorry to hear knee is playing up- I'm sure the drive in the cold didn't help as it took you so long.
    Hope you feel better soon

    hi csa and jellie

Well I did a respectable amount of work today I think - hope the boss is pleased. Unless the snow is worse tomorrow I will try and go in and leave DD with OH if school is shut... don't want to get a bad reputation..... tempting as it is to stay at home!
