our dustbin men did most of the estate and didn't bother with our cul-de-sac I was really annoyed!Good that your deliveries made it through the snow.
Our the waste disposal teams haven't made it out so we have boxes worth of Christmas recycling sitting in the snow. Could be a while until they can collect it all.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Naughty dustbin men - do you have loads of recycling bins or still just a 'dustbin'?
I've spent most of the week in London with dd in hospital and was worried about the forecast snow stopping me get to her after travelling all this way - but although it has snowed , it hasn't been nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. Fingers crossed she will have recovered enough for me to feel ok about leaving her to travel home on Saturday - hope the trains are running by then.
What's the declutter book called - sounds inspiringJanuary spends - £587.580

            hi milann and jellie
Well I have worked hard today - making up for earlier in the week !
I have now finished all of Grey's Anatomy - so much for making them last! I have also watched the first 4 episodes of Private Practice which is much more upbeat!
Milann- we have recycling bins here. The book is called "why am I so disorganised - sort out your stuff" by Dr Marilyn Paul. It isn't just a how to book or throw your stuff away book - it is more lets look at why you do what you do and see if we can change that underlying world view so that you can then change your behaviour. Eg messy people are creative - but are they really - we all know we have to clear a space before we can be creative. So perhaps being messy is stopping us being creative and there could actually be an increase in freedom (eg to be creative) by being more organised...
It is a good but very challenging book!
I thought I'd finished taking the xmas decs down - but still have branches twirled round my bannisters - need to take them down this weekend, find boxes etc. On hypno's thread they are getting rid of excess xmas decs... I may need to follow their example!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Yep that's the last series so the new one should tell who lived or died, I'm hoping both do but think one of them has kicked the bucket!
Not sure about freeview top ups, I'm stupidly paying for V+ :rolleyes:0
