No cos the book to buy is £12.99 plus £3 post and packing!
    That's expensive!!

Well you may be able to watch my series 5 but would have to arrange to collect it - can't see me dropping in anytime soon! Not with the snow! Only made it into work twice this week!
Anyone know when Greys is back on our screens? How long do I have to cram Series 5 into? We could agree on a mutually convenient place? :A
I think we will be treating our xmas money as having bought the curtains
I want some nice curtains - especially with blackout fabric!! Can't really justify it atm tho...

BZ a) yup! b) if the snow permits you could collect from my work! and c) could probably lend you 90by90 light blue curtains from my bedroom - they have a thermal and black out lining - it is just they never matched the carpet, quilt etc so decided to get rid for now... But they cost over £100 so not able to part with completely yet!

I have other curtains in my loft - but again I might want them back at some point as I do like them they just don't look right in this house with the carpets as they are etc... Let me know.

BZ can you record for me or do you not have that facility?

My black out curtains for my room today were £35 so was pleased with that.

  • Never really got into Greys, missed too much early on. DS bought me House and Heroes for Christmas so have got to watch them soon, especially as Heroes is back on BBC so need to check which series they are showing.

Well done on the writing competition for DD. My nephew was a runner up in a competition and had a piece of art displayed in a local gallery, it was such a buzz.

well oh has cleared a path down our cul de sac and parked his motorbike on the main road out of the estate - lets hope it a) doesn't get nicked and b) means he can get to work in the morning.

I have spent a few hours sorting out my bedroom and the air cupboard. Sadly I feel I have barely made a dent! I have filled one charity bag to give away and a couple of small bags of rubbish.... but that's all

Never mind got a chinese takeaway soon which should be nice. DD is in the bath, and I have done a couple of loads of washing. We skipped church today - too tired and wanted an at home day.

Hope this next week at work goes ok! On one level I want it to snow so much it will prevent me going to work on another level tho there is only so much I can do from home and I would soon have to use my holidays or have unpaid leave to compensate which would not be good!

    On my to do list

Sort my bedroom out enough to go to bed!!! (mismatched socks covering it at the mo!)
Make sure kids have enough uniform washed for tomorrow
Put in my timesheet for last week

Hope you are all having a good weekend.

Is everyone being organised and cleaning this weekend apart from me

Am completely with you on the work thing. I want to stay at home and so want more snow, but the kids need to go back to school full time and I have stuff to do in the office, just like my lie ins! It's raining here, it might turn to snow

Enjoy your chinese - I have a really bad reaction to MSG and haven't had one for over 6 years, really miss them!

I didn't get into work last week so am dreading going on tomorrow - feel as if I will have missed LOADS, but in reality will have missed a day on a course then we were shut for 2 days with the snow - so I actually only missed 2 days with the children. Not sure if I'll get paid or not ??

I am getting my dh to drop me off - really don't want to drive in this ice - lots of small side streets to negotiate.

    Hope dh's bike is ok

Hope the bike is ok and you both stay safe with any travelling.
I'm going to have to do my best to get in whatever the weather this week. Thankfully the roads round here seem pretty clear now. Must remember they're probably icy though!!
