hi imd, milann and jellie
I am dreading going back tomorrow. Every weekend it is extremely hard to make myself go back in again on the Monday. With having the xmas break and the snowy weirdness last week it is even harder than usual - as I am kind of hoping we get a major snowfall overnight which means I don't have to go! Not the right attitude I know.
I have submitted my timesheets so here's hoping I get paid okay! Still need to do my expenses but chances are they wouldn't have had time to deal with them anyway as my umbrella company is working with reduced staff due to snow.
I have tried to do too much today in terms of dealing with household stuff - which means at the moment it looks worse than when I started - Hopefully this is just temporary lol!
I like the colour of my new curtains but have gone from 90 inch drop to 54 inch so at the moment it doesn't look right... Hope I get used to it soon.
Hope we all have a good day tomorrow. (Just signed off with my name then - had to go back and delete it LOL).... You never know my boss or team mates could read this!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi SavingH,
Hope you get the snowfall you want. Think OH is hoping for one so he can work from home too.
I also was clearing out stuff today and the place looks worse than when we started. I have 1/2 cleared out the room that will be the babies nursery though and have my hospital bag and the babies hospital bag 1/2 packed so I am making some sort of progress.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

What did you do SavingH? It would seem to make more sense to work from home if it is going to take you ages to get in.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

How did you get on? I was half hoping for snow this morning as an excuse not to go to work as I am getting far too used to being at home but alas only a dusting of snow. Not worth going in though if it's going to take you ages,

Not surprised you are struggling with motivation if it took you 2 hours to get there. Still, it looks impressive on your part that you made the journey.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

But they cost over £100 so not able to part with completely yet!
I have other curtains in my loft - but again I might want them back at some point as I do like them they just don't look right in this house with the carpets as they are etc... Let me know.savingholmes wrote: »BZ can you record for me or do you not have that facility?clearmydebts wrote: »Hope you get the snowfall you want. Light blue really wouldn't work in our room. It's got red and sort of burnt orange going on with the carpet & border. I don't think there's any point buying nice curtains that I like with matching bedding (which is what I'm really wanting) in a rented house. Or at least not one with this decor cos it's not what I'd choose. Thanks for the offer though. Plus 90x90 would, I fear, be huge in my windows lol. Maybe I'll just have to get a blackout blind and put it up after the new windows get put in...
Do you remember my curtains from my dining room in the last house They had blue, red and cream in - I would want them back if we move house but I loved those curtains. They don't really fit here. They were long but not floor lengthI could, but only onto VHS and that means I'd have to be in/remember every week... Living's website is still not announcing when it's going to be airing, which is annoying. I could deffo get the dvd's off you from work if you were working late-ish but DH only gets back with the car (normally, non-snowily) about 6ish... Otherwise I could take him into work and steal the car one day next week?

VHS - we have a player so that would be okay but appreciate it is a lot of effort. I am not in work as late as that if I can help it...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
