We're really lucky to have woods in walking distance of us- I love chilling out with a stroll.

Hope they agree the flexi- hours on Friday for you and the bike repairs aren't too expensive.

    Hi all

Not heard back from the company since I suggested finishing at lunchtime on a Friday... I think that we will both end up walking away from the deal

I have been contacted by an agency (on email) asking me if I'd be interested in working on a project for a few months at 2 or 3 times my normal rate! Strangely I am planning to ring them first thing tomorrow! I think they have probably found me thro linked in or my other online cvs.... Just have to hope that it works out for me altho what they want is quite specialist... I have some experience of it, believe I can do it but whether or not they will want more recent experience of it I don't know.... We'll see!

Had homemade sweet and sour turkey, rice and some naughty chips for tea - DS and OH liked it, I think I put a tad too much vinegar in for me altho I followed a recipe - but then I like things sweet!

...I didn't mind... nice that someone is interested and it was someone to chat to!!! Shows how lonely being off work can be.....
Agreed! It's a very hard thing to get used to, whether it's something you can't changed (illness or whatever) or it's something you're desperately trying to change. In some ways I hope you don't get used to it, and then it won't be such a shock to the system when you do get another job (which you will), iyswim?

Your buys today sound like bargains...and made me a tad concerned that I haven't been building up my pressie stash ready for christmas

I think it would potentially be best tbh. I can't imagine you enjoying it, knowing what they'll be like in practice...:o

Well done on the agency contact tho, I hope that one really works out! Go for it with confidence! If they didn't think you'd be able to do it they wouldn't've contacted you!

SH good luck with that one 2-3 times more thats fab!:T

I have just contacted halifax to close my account as there is nothing on it . they put me through to customer loyalty lol and I have ended up with them increasing my credit limit substantially , lowering my apr by over 4% and offering me 0% deals :T:j. so if any of you have a CC with nowt on it its worth ringing to see what they can offer you ;)
