Hi Jellie and Hi Karen if you go to the shopping board - there is an area called Grabit
That is where they described boots glitches. In this case boots are giving 200 points for you to buy children's medicines from £1.26 per item.... So effectively I did that on 3 products that they had in stock and ended up spending £5.47 and getting the equivalent of £6 back plus the items....
Had a good day - MIL took us and our nephew out for a carvery meal and we managed to get £15 of ikea vouchers. Unfortunately we also found out the bed we want for DS will set us back £160 not the £120 we thought....! Need to hope for more offers between now and when it is time to get it....
Still dreading the interview tomorrow - not sure it is the right job for me still... but don't want to turn it down if nothing else is going to come upAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi
OH is in the doghouse as he forgot to pick up DD from afterschool club. I found out when I was 45 minutes away by which time he was already 15 minutes late getting her! He had gone to fix his motorbike wheel at a town 10 miles further on - and claimed I hadn't told him. That as you can imagine added insult to injury! I thought I had disconnected my mobile and proceeded to scream and swear (that is very uncharacteristic for me) - apparently I hadn't disconnected my phone and all the people near him heard me and laughed at him! I finally realised I hadn't disconnected 8 and a half minutes later. LOL:rotfl::rolleyes:
I tried to send my son to get my DD but they wouldn't let her go with him. I gave them the number of a friend in the end - who they rang - and luckily she got my kids for me. My friend said my OH definitely knew he was in the dog house! Good job too! My friend has said I can put her number down on the list!
I drove home like a bat out of hell - I am so grateful that I didn't crash! Hope that I didn't get caught!
He has apologised - but it is me the afterschool club know and have spoken to - so it is me they will blame! It was the one we were using for the first time! I am absolutely mortified!:o I think I will try and get a tin of choccies tonight in the hope that they don't strike us off the list!
I think my interview went okay - and the mini task and presentation they set me! I hope so since they took 2 hours 45 over the whole process! I did find out I could get home by 7pm even if I left at 5.45pm from the site - however I don't think it would be wise to drive that fast on a regular basis! I still don't know how long it would take if I left at 5pm!
I think I will be offered the job. Just need to decide if I definitely want it or not if they do. I am still worried about the distance and the salary but it would pay off a lot of bills if I took it!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

:rotfl:At least you can laugh about it now! It is horrible getting a phone call like that when there is a limited amount you can do!
I'm sure you will work out what to do if offered the job.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
OH did overhear me - his ears are still recovering! I don't think he dared disconnect :rotfl::eek::rotfl::rotfl:At least you can laugh about it now! It is horrible getting a phone call like that when there is a limited amount you can do!

I am going to ring up about some other jobs tomorrow and see how feasible they are....
The whole afterschool club thing just highlighted my fears around trusting him to take them and pick them up every day! Just because you have to tell him 10 million times before he does things. Even DS agreed there was no way OH could not know since I'd told him millions of times over the weekend!:rotfl:
OH is now cooking me some tea - and poor DS has nipped to the shop to get some baked beans and bread for it - but has been told he can have the change!;)Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Any news on the other job they approached you about?2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
still waiting to hear on the other job... and yesterdays....
I feel slightly under the weather today. I think I struggle to stay motivated applying for jobs - I also worry when making decisions - scared of making the wrong one..... Kind of need to get over that a bitAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I think most of us get scared about major decisions. You seem to be looking at all the options and thinking things through. I am sure the right decision will resonate with you and I'm sure whatever decision you make will be the right one for you at this time....that is the best you can do!
Any sense of peace about any option is generally a good sign but I rarely have the fortune to get that!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0
