Unlucky if they were £2 since I got them for £1 but I will skip over that... If you get haribos and stuff check out the pound shops for deals...

The female ones... could put make up in it? or boots freebies or buy one get one frees on hair products, foam bursts, bath oils etc.... if you go somewhere like poundstretcher, home and bargains may be able to get cheap versions to pad them out...

I was in home and bargain the other day and could have got a massage back strap, brush and lotions... for 99p - would look nice in the jar....

Ps Sorry forgot i was talking to you - do you not have some of your stock you could include? LOL

    Just a few ideas...

  • Sounds like the interview has made the decision for you about the job - which I guess makes thing easier to an extent? You know in your own mind that it's not right for you - you wouldn't buy your kids shoes that were a size too small just because they were a bargain would you? Well then - this job is a size too small for YOU, so by the same token, it's NOT a bargain!

Thank you for that and your earlier post. I am just so afraid in case there is nothing else that I am in danger for settling for anything.

I know tho that I don't cope well with long days and lots of travel - so I am concerned that I would end up back with full scale depression (I still take anti-depressant tablets now but they are workign fine - and there has been no effect on my day to day life for years now - I just take the tablets to help make sure it stays that way.)

plus the potential impact on family life.... Plus I knew someone who worked there a few years ago and they absolutely slated the place....

It's just that no0one else is ringing me currently... altho I did get an email earlier about a possible local job - I will give that company a ring tomorrow and see how I get on!

Sorry to hear you had such a tough day yesterday. I'm sure if the job is right for you you'll know it. Keep the faith!
At least it sounds like you had a good day on Sunday.

    Thanks el and Jellie

I am currently trying to tackle the clean washing pile in the utility room. I hoovered my lounge (major applause required) and now have about 10 piles and 4 carriers bags of clothes. Unfortunately one pile is for ironing.... most of the stuff I am not bothering with ironing.... Need to get back to it really.

Just had a lovely dinner - small jacket spud, 5 piccolo tomatoes, 2 spring onions, half a small can of salmon with seafood sauce - yum!

I've found a new free website called calorie count where I can track what I eat, its nutritional value and my exercise burn off rate for free! Used it a few days now and already lost 2lb! Well I am about to go and get the kiddies from school and then belly dancing later!

Probably going to do a chicken fried rice again for tea. It is really easy to do and is about 440 calories each. I say chicken - it is actually turkey lol - don't know if that changes the calories....

Canola oil to cook (cook use fry light or similar)
    Chicken approx 400g
    Sweetcorn - small can drained
    Spring onions
    Petit pois approx 200g
Mushrooms / Mixed peppers / Celery / Drained water chesnuts if I feel like it
120g (dry weight) - cooked brown rice
    Soy sauce

Yum - everyone in the family likes it... altho sometimes DD turns her nose up - more for us!
