I rang the agency - next stage likely to be the week after next... They loved me - if they didn't require higher approval they would have offered me the job based on the presenation and how I came across :j But 2 directors need to agree so need to wait for that (we are on our holidays next week so the delay is just as well!) I have a canny plan on how to fit the interview in but won't put on here just in case the wrong person reads it! :rotfl:This temp job is technically also better paid (but no car) so a delay is actually good from an :money:angle just not so good from a personal job security perspective....

I am tired but the kids are at MILs for the week (free childcare) :money:so at least I can adjust in relative peace! Just as well as I have a trip away towards the end of the week which will be tiring! Had to be up really early for me today but tomorrow can be a more reasonable time. Apparently they are quite flexible on hours so that could be good too....

Thanks Elantan for posting. :TAny lurkers around who fancy posting? It is so nice when there is a bit of chat and banter going on....!

well if you could find a way past all the ironing, housework and books and paper lying around - there might be... not seen it in a while tho :rotfl:

Like you we have a lot of books.... we used to have more..... have been trying to give them away and declutter - hard tho isn't it! I thought with this kid free time I might find it easier to get the house straight but no.... that button isn't online right now :rotfl:

Hi SH, sorry haven't been around lately, trying to get my body back on track and all it can stand at the moment is work then bed :) Also with DH away it means that I'm having to do everything else on my own instead of having him around to do dishes, cook tea etc

Glad to see your doing well on the job front, I will have everything crossed for your next stage :D Sounds very promising, but I don't blame you for not wanting to get your hopes up :) hopefully the second director will see what everyone else can and give you the position and new car :D

Your going to Cornwall!!! :D That's where I'm from, I love it down there, I'm sure you'll have a great time and I hope the weather holds out for you, I know what Cornish weather is like so hoping it will behave for your stay :D xx
