sounds to me like it has been a very productive day then ...ok what is wonderful about you .... i want 10 things you believe and i want 5 reasons why they should have you ....
i'll start you (but you cant nick it)
you are a thoughful person with good listening skills (ok that's two you can have one)0 -
Thanks El
the problem is the real question I have been given is a little more tailored than that and I don't want to disclose what job I do on the board... But it goes something like "how will I add value over and above what they have got at the moment - inside and outside my specalist area"
They have already told me they don't want a repeat of my CV!
I need to say things like
I am really proactive for example.....
I am commercially focused for example when I challenged this resulting in X savings to the business
etc
They want headline stuff but with some depth to it! Not asking for much are they!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well finished my presentation - have 14 slides and 1 mini report of about 5 pages to supplement (in word) and 2 pages of a guidance sheet to supplement another section! Oh what fun..... NOT!
The agency want to look at it in the morning - which sounds good but - I don't really want to change any thing at this stage (printer cartridges etc expensive....)
Apparently they never did find any other worthy candidates for the job :rotfl:- so at the mo I'm the last in the race but I still have to convince them it is worth taking that final step! Hopefully me having a temp job will help give them a kick up the proverbial to get their act together before I stop being on the market altogether!
Interview is in the afternoon . Need to pack clothes for sproglets, then get them to MILs and then go to interview....
Of course it would help if I hadn't hurt my back today while swimming....
desperately hoping the problem resolves itself by tomorrow - esp considering I have a long drive to do tomorrow night... and also will need to pack clothes for me! Busy, busy, busy!
OH is going to have a couple of evening of relative bliss, peace and quiet without us all! :rotfl:I might enjoy the peace of being in a hotel too hmmmm;) Altho I expect the days will be quite exhausting... Lots of nora roberts books left from my library pile tho to take with me....
Of course I still haven''t found the things for the DVLA, signed off or any of those organised things.... I also need to do a music for life form for DS or he will be kicked off the course before he has even begun! They seem to want money.... :rotfl:Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well it seemed to go okay even tho they co-opted someone else into the interview too! 3 against 1 LOL. Should find out Friday. Excuse any lack of comment in other people's diaries as I now need to do a 3 hours journey tonight so I am ready to start my temp job tomorrow!
Kids at MILs but just been out for celebratory meal with OH before I set off!
