I have just been doing my snowball thing..... I reckon I should be able to pay at least £1200 possibly £1500 in a month with no holidays off our debt which would be absolutely fab and would put me back on track to be debt free by the end of next year! If I use savings - might even be debt free by OH's birthday if not for mine!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi Betty
Yes I am still going for the interview on the perm one so life could get complicated. I would have to give 1 month's notice to leave the temp role but it's money in the bank..... This stage 4 of 5 perm job has been going on for weeks if not months now so if they think I am right for them I am confident they would wait. At the end of the day I need long term job security and would prefer a role closer to home with minimal travel which the perm job should provide but which the temp job doesn't at the moment appear to....
If I don't get the perm job (which comes with a car) we will sadly probably also have to add to our debts further and buy a second car - as riding a motorbike in winter and with kids to pick up from after school club etc is not such a good option for OH and I will have the one we just bought...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
