Pregnant and Hubby doesnt love me

weel it's my birthday today and feel really good... slept well as Alfie was an angel (second night alone but stayed at mums) woke for feeds and was quiet during nappy changes, then went straight back to sleep after...

ex saw his son for an hour yesterday and changed a nappy, only wet, but it's a start... was painful to watch!

off to a nearly new sale with my mum and a friend in a bit... my first so should be an experience...

feeling proud of Alfie... put on 10oz in a week!

been feeding pretty much all night... but then he poops as soon as he stops, making space so then demands more food! joys of motherhood i suppose!


had a few tears yesterday - mum and my sister both wrote special little notes in my birthday cards and mum snuck out to get a card from Alfie and a couple of photo frames with 'number 1 mummy' and 'me and my mummy' on them...

love my family.. we've been through a lot over the last couple of years and it's really made us stronger and closer...

ive just come accross this thread, and like you fitz,my partner left me when i was was pregnant and i know what you were going through. ive read your thread from start to finish and found it very moving. alfie looks so gorgeous and very contented!

just to let you know that Im another one who has been lurking since day 1 and am sooo happy for you as you seem to have really turned a corner. For what it is worth , I think you are amazingly strong...and it goes without saying that Alfie is scrumptious.

Anyway, on a practical note, and I know that you have been pretty busy, but have you sorted out your benefits or tax credits entitlements yet....they only backdate for 93 days so you have a bit of time left but as soon as you claim then the sooner you get paid. This is where I can kinda help seeing as you are soo special. I am *in the know* re tax credits in particular so if you have any queries please do PM me.
