i'm on own for first time tonight... got 4 days til mum can come back. terrified!
had a cuddle with mum as she left for work & we were both in floods of tears...
not heard anything from ex in over a week... told him bout name via email (his fave choice of communication) but no responce and no contact with Alfie either since his 30mins last sunday...
mum said not to be suprised if something comes in post from his solicitor... he cant do anything can he??:male:Alfie Sidney born 29th August 2009:male:0 -
Your boy is gorgeous! What a little darling. Well done and I hope you're feeling incredibly proud of yourself.
Sorry you're feeling a bit wobbly tonight, not at all surprising but you'll cope. I think maybe your mum is guessing that your ex may well get his solicitor to write to you stating that ex wishes to have access. If this is the case, you need to start by sending your solicitor a copy of the letter, then having a chat with her. Don't let this get to you - you have many more important things on your mind (like resting, cuddling Alfie and having the most relaxing time you can manage this evening). I'm so glad you've come through all this and are safely home with your beautiful boy; if you feel anxious in the early hours, pop on here and someone will be awake.
Have a good night.

I've been lurking on this thread since day one,and just wanted to say that I've been amazed (& humbled) by your strength - I for one know that I could not have done what you have.
If you can cope with what the last 9 months has thrown at you,I can assure you'll survive the next 4 days !!!
IMO you've really defined the meaning of "Girl Power"
Alfie is absolutely Gorgeous and very lucky to have a Mummy like you.

Fitz - this may sound trite but try not to stress about the access and court stuff - It's a slow9ish) process anyway and you would probably need to go to mediation first so Lo is likely to be a little older by the time it's an issue (whether he wins whatever access he wants or not). By then you may well feel happier letting him take him out of the house for access anyway.MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0

Another one lurking on your thread sine the beginning, fitz, with never much to adivse as you seem to be an inspiration more than someone who comes across as needing help. I've been eagerly anticpating Alfie's arrival too. Thank you so much for sharing your photgraphs with us. He is adorable - no less than perfect
Congratualtions on his safe arrival!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Congratulations, and every good wish for the future to you and your lovely family. Your mum must be so proud of you! And isn't it lovely that he has brought so many smiles to your family already. Every single person in the photos look so happy.
I am really pleased for you, just don't let it all go by in blur, make the most of every minute. Before you know it, you'll be showing him blowing out the candles on his first birthday cake.:T:hello:  please play nicely children !0 -
