Diva that magazine sounds great I am def going to look out for it.
Lillibet - congratulations on the job, you must be delightedl:j

    Jovi - good news!! (((Hugs)))

    Fairyelephant (((((((((Hugs)))))))))

Kal25 I know exactly what you mean, it is my day off today and I had to force myself not to turn the computer on until I finished doing what had to be done as I spend far too much time laughing and reading all the comments on here.

On OS front I have done shopping, washing, cleaning. Sorted out tired veg in fridge and frozen onions, peppers etc. Have made a huge pot of spag bol for tea so that I can freeze half for next week. Might make some Twinks hob nobs later this afternoon - (depends how long I spend reading on here!!!)

Hugs and best wishes to all - enjoy the rest of your day xx

Afternoon................good morning in town, took in the signed documents and everything is OK, financial checks came back A1 so thats great. Market for fruit and some salad stuff, cost me just under £10 for 2 weeks fruit.....so not too bad. Went into John Lewis and bought the washing machine, its being delivered 9th April between 2pm and 9pm free!!!!!

OH insisted on going to the allotment this afternoon, what is it with men, they seem to think we are pack horses or donkeys at times, all I wanted to do was sit and slob instead I ended up diggin over the brassica bed, spreading manure over the spud bed and finishing off the herb bed at the front of the allotment. OK, it looks nicer but I am k*******d, my back is killing me, my feet ache and I am cold.....It turned quite cold when the sun went in.

Just had a piece of cake and a cuppa, put a smoked bacon joint in to soak, I'll cook it in the morning and use the liquor to make soup.......I have some stewing steak to do as well......cold pork and salad for tonight with a jacket spud.......bananas and cream for pudd.

Hopefully this is the photograph of the ring pillow I have made for a friend. I posted it to her on Tuesday, would not put the photo up until she had seen it.........I think judging by the e mail she sent she is pleased with it.........

hello all not been on this bit for a while was so busy with uni work, well after much stress i passed my first masters module, onto the second now and more stress!!

have a couple of days annual leave at the mo so not going to do any uni work having a break, tempting as it is to do some.

brought the marks spencer meal deal today and a few other bits and had a 10% off coupon from having a credit card and as it takes that off before the multi save kicks in the lot cost me £15.42.

dried spaghetti 500gms is only 37p at the mo so cheaper than smart price,

my most exciting bit of news is we brought a brand new car we went on sat to test drive and they couldnt match the deal we wanted so we walked away (we were prepared to play the waiting game and if necessary waiting until next reg came out) well got a phone call today saying they would like to do the deal on our terms!! hooray - we have got such a fabby deal better than a used one that is 18mths older!!

tea tonight is roast pork - got a huge stuffed belly joint from butcher which husband cut into 7 joints (just for the 2 of us) and it cost us £10 so hence a roast mid week for that price.

hope everyone else is ok, the sunshine certainly makes me much happier.
