Dealing with the posting from Cuina......
Firstly, regarding my neighbour Cuina, I have reported your post as it is libellous and untrue.
We have one laid up vehicle here and no building work.
When someone devotes their time, life and every penny, to restoring Farmland, Buildings and property that has not been renovated or worked on in 50 to 100 years, working only to the order of approach stipulated by Britains largest authorities and charities, and with an aim to turn the clock back and preserve/create a working, carbon neutral, High Nature value, organic, eco friendly farm, working towards mitigating climate change, this takes upheaval and equipment. No-one you know will EVER put forward to preservation everything in life they own here for the rest of time as an example.
You have rung in to a number of authorities previously regarding Rare Breed Historic animals we breed and preserve here. I thank you for this, since it has produced faultless inspections. Environmental Health I thank you for too - it is 100% preferable to openly be able to inspect jointly with them and to have got operational workings right.
I utterly wish the planning authorities to be part of this farms immense preservation and historic aims. I thank you again for your approach here, and am in consultation with them.

You treated the OP with disregard, she said the cottage was a pig sty (rare breed ?)
You are only interested in yourself,or you would have come on this thread before now, only now it seems you are concerned this thread will harm your new business venture.0 -
I'd have more sympathy if a quick google didn't seem to throw up quite a lot of complaints about the state of your accomodation over quite a period of time. I'd be surprised if they were all lying.0

Mr Mockridge is also running holidays at his home, Middleton Mill Farm
It seems a similar story with the photos telling a different story from reality. Farm is in a complete state, falling down buildings, farm stock ( yes he's trying to be a pig farmer as well ), scrap cars everywhere and lots of unfinished building work everywhere. Unsurprisingly all building has been started without planning permission and is being investigated by Mid Devon Council - TA3 7PT-Enf/11/00025.
His latest venture seems to be placing mobile homes everywhere and renting them out.
Has anyone told his advertisers eg stillwells who are part of Hoseasons that he has no planning permission ,and therefore NO site licence,is that why he has suddenly come on this thread to get that reference removed from cuina?

Also, can anyone do google earth or google street view? I am getting visions of that scam about those lapland wonderland fraudsters site, cant remember the name of the thread now.0 -

That was in the New Forest area, if you Google "New Milton Advertiser" it may have archive link to a report on the case.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
I wish I had found this before we recently spent an awful week at Chapial Steps. First thing we did on arrival was have a clean. The whole place was damp and filthy (Dehumidifier in the Bedroom) cooker hobs rusty, the most filthy sofa you could imagine, place covered in cobwebs, roof garden should have been condemmed, broken chair in the living room when we arrived. Not his fault I guess but not mentioned in the brochure was the generator running 10 yards away from the bedroom window all night every night. Oh and the TV was broken, cant beleive we actually stayed in on the Wednesday for replacement to arrive. We were also not at all happy to find that someone had been in the house the next day and taken the old TV whilst we were out.
It was a total crap week for £625, he has offered us a £100 refund and another holiday via text message, but this was over a month ago, but having just found this I think we can safely say that is not going to happen. He even put in a text that he had shut the place down for three weeks after our comments but now says he meant his office not chaipel steps. The guy is obviously a scam meister and up to his old tricks again as this thread now shows.0 -
If you feel strongly enough about it go to court, you will probably win. Follow the advice given on this thread, and print it off as evidence.0

Lapland New Forest Winter Wonderland - heady days indeed.
I probably still have the files but won't bring them out unless there's an indisputable connection.Never ever give your card details to anyone over the phone, and check the reputation of any company you do intend to give them to.0 -
