You know, it was a really strange experience being in the court room. I can honestly say that both myself and my husband did not deserve to be there. It was something that i wouldnt like to experience again, but you never know.
Just to let you know also what went on in the court room.
After the judge had listened to both sides, and before he did his deliberations, Mr Mockridge decided (or should i say his wife) decided to show the judge copies of the correspondence from this website. Obviously somebody had told them about me being on here. She said that she had faxed through to the courts the day before all the messages that had been left by and for me. The judge said that he hadnt seen them. She then tried to give the judge the photocopies of this forum but the judge wouldnt have any of it, and said that basically it wouldnt make any difference. I said that this was an open forum and all my messages were between me and anybody else who wanted to make a comment. Both him and his wife tried to make out that I was aggressive and was quoting on some of the remarks that I had made previously with regards to him being an idiot! The judge wasnt having any of it.. and refused to even look at it. The judge did tell me off though for putting those remarks on the forum!! I did agree that at the time I was angry at being fobbed off all the time, but we all have those moments done we? The judge decided he was in breach of contract.
All in all, it was a very strange and not a very nice experience. However, if needs be I would do it all again, just to let people know about this type of problem and also to stick to my principles and not just "roll over" and forget about it.
Again, thank you for all your messages of support and guidance. I really, truly couldnt have done it without all your advice regarding councils, trading standards etc. Keep in touch.

thank you nesssie1702. i was a bit worried yesterday when the defendants brought this website up in the court room, however, as i have been professionally advised this is an open forum, and despite me calling him "an idiot" which was done in the heat of the moment, nothing that was put on the website was wrong, as I won the case the first and 2nd time.
therefore i am very glad i stuck to "my guns" and carried this through. if it educates at least one person and makes them think twice before committing themselves then I feel that i have done something good.
thank you for emailing me. i have alot of private emails supporting me for what i have done and for that I am very grateful to everyone for their support and advice.
as I said in my earlier post, if it hadnt been for the help and advice i have been given on this forum then I truly dont think i would have had the confidence to go ahead with this and see it through, which i think that is what the defendants were hoping for.
so, i like to think thats its a victory for the "little people" of this world, who work hard all year and deserve to go to a cottage which has been advertised as said in the brochure, and not to "put up and shut up" and just accept it.0 -

Well done. Taking on people like this is very draining - they count on you giving up beacsue it is too much hassle and often distressing. I hope you can eventually put this behind you.0
