Would it be naughty to use my overdraft to get it paid off next month??
Thanks for the good luck wish Danko....just spotted this. If the OD costs less in interest than the Card then I think you win in the long run by using it to offset the card then pay back the OD ?? As long its its not one of those Halifax overdrafts that take £1 a DAY for being overdrawn.....robbing ********sDebt Free 25th August 2010 with PAD !!TARGETS ::D

Well, the stop smoking clinic was actually really good. I am going to give the NRT patches a go as its free, and I have signed up to go to a weekly drop in session to get my carbon levels tested so I can't cheat and then get more free patches until I wean myself off. FF I really admire you...9 months is great! I don't think I can do cold turkey though

Hi Andy
Don't blame you. My OH was a 30 a day man but went cold turkey before our eldest was born.
He was tiling in the bathroom at the time, trying to cut a circle in the centre of a tile for the shower.
He must have broke about 15 tiles - needless to say the air was BLUE! :rotfl:
In the end I shouted up - "Just have A FAG!!!!"
He didn't though and has been stopped 5 years (still says he misses it every day, tho)
A good mate of mine gave up with the Alan Carr book and swears by it.
Good luck - I know it's not easy0 -
Hi PAD-ers :hello:
Payday at last, and OH had some OT through too, so
PAD today = £65.00.
That feels sooo much better, been missing making PADs, but been very poor this month.
Going to spend some time catching up on the thread now, just read this one page...good luck London Andy, I've (luckily) never smoked, but my OH is a born-again-non-smoker. It makes me laugh sometimes with the things he comes out with!

Completely off topic again but how old do you think a child should be to be able to go to the shop on there own?
Our local netto is 5 min walk away with no roads to cross.
