    Hi all

Loving my overdue day off - woke up to sunshine!

Off to the nicotine clinic in a sec - motivated and ready to kick it on Sunday. Just hoping they won't talk to me like a 10 year old as the last nurse to "lecture" me on smoking did. :o Wouldn't mind but only went for a Hep jab before hols....

Will catch up later, meantime £11.97 to the Capitalists One.

Hi all, just a 50p pad for me today, it's not very sunny here, although looking a bit brighter.

 John Lewis have taken a load of money out of the joint account for the PS3 we already paid for! We had to swap the first one out as it was faulty and the system got confused as we used £205 of vouchers and charged us again! This has pushed us over our overdraft limit and now have two bank charges totalling £78.

Fortunately they have been quite good and are paying the bank charges as it was their error but need to wait til next week for our refund and the money for the charges. We're lucky OH was paid today or we would be stuck with no money until next week!

    Lovely pictures Angelic btw!

On 9th June it will be 9 months since I quit - best thing I have done in years.

I didn't get help - I quit with normal chewing gum and willpower. Day 1 was horrible but I haven't had a puff since, mainly because I was insane that day and don't want to go through it again.

Prior to that I quit 5 times with patches and it didn't work, I think because I was still addicted to nicotine.

Good luck with it, but don't assume that nicotine-replacement is the way to go:D
