Lemma Sorry to hear you're having a crap day, did you not say a few posts ago that you'd paid £7200 to HMRC..? That's an amazing achievement and one I think that you should keep at the front of your mind - everyone has off days at work - but not alot of people can say they give HMRC £100 EVERYDAY!! :D

I know you are right, and its killing me but its gotta be done.

I went to bed for a couple of hours this p.m. cos i felt sooo low. I am feeling a tad better now and i have been chatting to a colleague about work this evening and having a bit of a brainstorming session which has helped, i think.

I will feel far more positive when its next Friday.

Thanks though for the support. It is appreciated. :A

You paid over your arrears aswel did you not? I think that's totally commendable! You know that when you're debt free you'll be able to enjoy life a bit better so the stress of work or just day to day life may not get to you so much.

Oh, and it's not long to go until next Friday!! :D

Hi hope you don't mind me joining in again?
I did PAD from the beginning of December last year to Feb this year and managed to get the dreaded egg card paid off.
After dabbling with self employment for a while Were now in even more debt than before but it's not a totally outrageous amount.
Weve found ourselves back in the benefits rut and I'm really fed up with being constantly in the red.
I'm determined to get this paid off and get driving lessons before 2010 hits us.
    So here goes.
Today i paid £100 onto one of my overdrafts, re-done our budget and sorted out exactly what we owe and to who.
Hopefully will be big amounts like this over next few days then i think I'll be back to the £1 a day routine
    Total Debt 10/5/2009, £2189.10, 1/6/09 £1420.75
    1/7/09 £1661.66, after 2 holidays 1/9/09 £1725.36
    1/11/09 £1188.89

    Hi everyone

So much to read and so little time ! Can't keep up with all these posts.

Enjoyed Eurovision last night .... format was much improved, didn't we do well :T

Waiting for payments into my bank account... should arrive this week.:D

In the meantime, can't let a day go by without a payment, so pad of £10 to NW.

Sorry to hear that some of you are feeling down. I know it is not easy, we all get stressed but I have been consciously trying to stop negative thoughts and change them to positive thoughts. It works for me ! Bit like seeing the glass half full and not half empty.

Hope you all have a better day tomorrow.

  • Evening All, Just back from town . . . Just caught up on all the posts I've missed.

Terri - hotel was wonderful, turned out to be the Hyatt Regency Churchill round the back of Selfridges, V swish & stupidly comfortable bed . . . . Party was cancelled due to both the birthday boy & his brother being felled by the same vile stomach bug . . . Still had a great time . . .

I may of been out on the booze . . . too much beer last night & some vino tonight but still I PAD - LOL

So today it's £5.00 chucked at the credit card & £3.13 into my various pots . . .

    Night all I'm beat . . . .
