Hi all, my pad today is £5.50 - £5 to the cat lair (courtesy of OH) and 50p to my Barclaycard.
Just had an eye test and need a stronger prescription, so to save money I decided to just get the lenses replaced in the frames I already have. I have two frames and it cost £39 per frame to replace the lenses! So paid half today (1 pair are in just now) and half when I pick them up (when I give them my other frames). I'm so blind they have had to order my lenses in so won't get them for two weeks.
I'm scared at what new frames would have cost me if it's costing £78 just to replace my lenses with a new prescription!Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -

Hi,
I've not been on in ages, my PAD's really suffered but have been taking stock and doing alot of things to help my financial situation. Did an overhaul, switched my bank accounts, set up a spreadsheet to monitor my budget and debts more easily, changed my gas n elec supplier, downgraded my tv package, lined up my next mobile phone provider and have just sold lots of stuff on ebay, alot of my money has gone on decorating as its about time this place got smartened up, but now I'm ready to jump back on the wagon-if you'll let me
