Morning,
Fingers crossed F-F, I don't live in the North East any more so don't get the chance to go to games but the next time I do, I hope it's still in the Premiership.
PaD for me today of £100 -
Hi All
I've been AWOL again [slaps wrist], no excuse, just feeling fed up with it all and lacking in motivation. On the plus side though, I haven't added to the CCs, so at least the debt is still going down.
Anyways, won a fiver on the lottery last night, so that's kickstarted me to make a PAD today.
So, £5 from lottery and £1.17 regular daily = £6.17 PAD to Egg.

Thanks Terri, will probably just spend some time with my nephews and nieces over the week as don't see them as much as I would like.
My pad for today is £1. Waiting for clicking money to clear so I can withdraw it to make some bigger pads.
We are getting a PS3 today - we have saved up over £200 in John Lewis vouchers from doing surveys and will pay the rest with ebay money. Excited as we need a treat.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. £1.17 Sunday PAD from me to a cc.
Hi Terri.
The overdraft reduction isn't a disaster by any means. It will probably force me to tighten up on my spending even more. Although I have gone a long way with that, there is still much room for improvement. If things get very tight, I can always get funds from a cc to plug the overdraft. However, that would be a backward step and I would only do it as a temporary emergency measure if it looked like there was a danger of exceeding my overdraft limit. It would be the lesser of two evils. Last year I was close to my 1800 limit much of the time. This year, even when I have gone into overdraft temporarily, it's usually been by £500 or less. This may sound sloppy to many people but when you're self-employed cashflow can be quite erratic. You can be £500 in overdraft one day and over a couple of days, £600 in cheques might arrive in the post along with a couple of decent BACS payments online.
As far as work goes, the work is still out there. I just need to chase it a bit more than I have done. It's very easy to focus on the negative after losing a few decent jobs but it is also true that I have picked up some good repeat work as well over the past year. I reckon that the 5 grand a year work that I have recently lost can be made good over the next 3 - 4 months if I am diligent. After all, the work I've picked up in the last year happened without me really trying much so I do wonder just how much can be got with a bit more effort on my part.0 -

Hi Folks
£5 PAD for me today.
Having a fairly restful day today as I had a busy day yesterday and am a little shattered. Back to work tomorrow. Having convinced the doctor last Wednesday that I really want to go back as I thought I felt fine after my operation, I now fancy staying off a bit longer -:p. It will be nice to get back into routine again and I will have a fairly easy day tomorrow catching up on the thousand e-mails that are no doubt waiting on me.
Have a good what's left of Sunday.0 -
