We went for a little trip to Mr T's for a few bits earlier.Sds peculiar but I felt like a proper 'grown up' family-which is silly as we are married, have dd but I was squeezing hubbys hand walking along saying 'we got here all by ourselves!'
My pad today is £5.00.Take care everyone xx
Aww that sounds so lovely  Driving / having a car does give you independence which is a great feeling. Think of all the energy you will have conserved for making baby no. 2
Angelicmary - i quite agree with lodging a complaint, but as you say, do it when you're calm. The people you've dealt with sound really unprofessional. Try not to use up your energy on them though in this precious last few weeks. Will have my fingers crossed for you when the time comes that you have a far better experience next time xOne step at a time0 -

...i agree that putting pen to paper when you are chilled out (or more likely, typing something out!) is a good idea.
don't forget that although every birth is different, second ones have the advantage that "the way has already been forged" (or however i should phrase it! basically someone's been down that road before!). what i am trying to say is that hopefully because you have already done it once (even tho bad experience), it might make it easier second time round. i know it did for me. and upright is good, unless there's a good medical reason why that's unsafe for you...
and when you get there, shout and demand as required - normally i wouldn't advocate that kind of behaviour, but when you are in labour it's YOU and YOUR baby who are important. we'll all be thinking of you when the time comes xxxMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

Sorry this is a really quick post as I am sooo busy!!
Lil - I have not forgotten you and will post details on Slimming World as soon as I have a moment.
I have now sorted my balance transfers, I have £5500 @ 0% until Apr 2010 and £1000 @ 24.9% on my Barclaycard.
Unfortunately I was unable to clear one of my husband's cards in full so will be concentrating on his Amazon card.
Today's PAD is £29.14.
This is money which has come from selling the chicken's eggs over the last week or so.
I will post every day with the money from selling the eggs because normally it goes into the purse and gets spent on something and we have nothing to show for it.

last year I did the sealed pot challenge and I got £200+ - have forgotten the exact amount! was really chuffed cos it paid for DS2's 21st birthday present, am doing it again this year but am quite tempted at the moment to open it
but will be good and wait so it can pay for xmas this year hopefully, I collect £2,£1,50p and 20p's in that and I also have a copper jar which I save 10p,5p,2p and 1p's in which also adds up quite nicely but I bag it up every couple of months and pay it into my bank.
I think it was £240 that you saved last year !...
Oooooooooooh by the way , loved the joke....

Good evening everyone
Had a lovely day today.
This afternoon, drove to beach with dear old dad (free parking) ... beautiful sunshine, calm sea, went for a short walk and then sat watching ferries sail into Ramsgate harbour.. who needs to go abroad? Very mse ... took flask of tea and biscuits and tackled crossword in free paper. Bliss
Flower08... you are never too old and never be too embarrassed to learn to swim. A few years ago, my sister and I had swimming lessons at a local school and we both were the wrong side of 40. I could swim before but was not very confident in deep water. The lessons really helped. (it was more embarrassing for me staying in shallow water whilst my children and grandchildren were in the deep end of the pool).
Still waiting for money to be paid into my bank account  Must not be too impatient.
I love the idea of saving 20p a day .... think I will get/make a tin for this.
Well done to everyone making payments today however big or small... and I hope those of you feeling down today will soon be feeling happier. We all have good days and bad days so you are not alone.
