  • Hello

Well after my largish Pad yesterday.......... im skint :D so just £1.00 to platinum.
Payments to this card made in the last few days should start reaching the account tomorrow and ive withdrawn £25 is from Global Test Market, £12.00 from Paypal and £10 from Bingo so when that comes in ill throw it at Platinum too :-)

Brother is STILL not home :( Hes been asking to come home for days but the doctors are having none of it so we keep hearing "maybe tomorrow"

Im sooo annoyed with TMOBILE, I placed an order yesterday for a PAYG wireless broadband dongle (via quidco ;)) which, with their next day delivery and confirmation email that never came, should have been delivered this morning.Anyway no email came and no money was debited from my account so being in a rush I went and bought from Argos this morning and just a couple of hours ago I got the confirmation email that its coming tomorrow and theyve taken the money form my account.Honestly I could cry  Going to email later and ask for my pennies back and send the dongle right back to them :o

Must dash, got sooooo much to do and no time to do it :rotfl:
Hugs, congrats and thanks to everyone
    Mumof4 xx

P.s, feeling for you angelic, ive been there and done that with a bad labour and it really puts a strain on subsequent pregnancies.Hope you get it sorted xx

  • Hey Flower,

Yeah everything is fine but I really can't get over the fact that 'Health Professionals' can be so unprofessional!!

I had alot of issues with the hospital where I gave birth and I didn't want the same horrible things to happen again so asked for a home birth...Now, there's a can of worms I shouldn't of opened!! Turns out that midwives in my area aren't willing to offer this as it's not fair on them and that's what hospital widwives are for..??

Then they started using excuses like, it's the governments fault that they can't offer home births...this has been an ongoing thing for a couple of weeks now but it all came to a head the other day when midwife's supervisor phoned me and basically called me a whinge!!

There's not much family around me (sister has daughter of her own and cousin has 6) so me daughter has never been looked after by anyone else, never stayed away the night or anthing and I said this to midwife and she told me to pack my wee lassie up to go stay with someone for a few days to get her used to being away...WHAT THE F**k?!!

I'm not really a whinge but I just felt that I needed to bring up the issues I had with a couple of members of staff in the hospital (even my OH was shocked at the way I was treated) but that seems like the worst thing I could of done...now I'll be going to the hospital on my own (OH will stay with daughter) but I won't be able to drive myself as OH will need the car to come get us as the hosp is 30miles away but I won't get an ambulance to take me cause it's not an emergency...

    Sorry about the rant!!

If you can be bothered, the key to this could be putting your issues in writing, post it to them, and keep a copy. Even if you have no reason for complaint on medical grounds, your grivance(s) will then be on the system and may prevent a repeat.
Also, even if they don't take a damned bit of notice, making the effort might make you feel a bit better about the situation.
I have done this before when I had a big illness some years ago. I stated that if I had to see a particular consultant (whose reputation preceded him) I would prefer to go to another area for my treatment. They assigned another consultant.
Although they would never have admitted it publicly, privately I was thanked for my letter by a staff member because there had been a lot of grumbles about the person but no-one had ever put it in writing before.
  • Just a quick hiya to the PADders-:hello:((((((hugs)))))) to the unhappy's

By the way Fag-ash_lil thanks so much for the websites and I quote " Do you know how to copy & paste " ?
but when I write click oops! right click I get the message "copy image and copy image location" not just a basic "copy" and then I start to get  and then I start to get the gobbledygook instead of a smiley and then etc etc etc
:o me useless at t'computer:( -all advice contributions gratefully appreciated
May you fill up the great clutterbucket of life and may all of your leaks be in cheese sauce:D
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without:cool:
