    Morning all!
Managed to lose 1lb at WI last night so not too disappointed with that considering the Saturday binge.:j

    Today's food will be...

B - cereal (milk to dog)
L - leftover 5 bean chilli (all free) and satsuma
D - quorn crsipy fillet (3 syns I think, will check) and HM wedges
    S - banana

Hope everyone else is having a good day.

Afternoon everyone - I have been keeping up with this thread for a while, whilst following Extra Easy at home. (I did go to class about 4 years ago, but can't really afford to right now).

I have lost 1st 3.75 lbs in 7 weeks, so it is working very well for me. I feel very 'in the zone' at the moment - wish I could bottle the feeling!

Weigh in day is first thing on a Wednesday morning (well after the loo, and before coffee!). Pleased to report a small 0.5 lb loss this week, after a slightly dodgy weekend!

I am doing all EE days and am an online Body Optimise member..

Weds is my weigh day, it is now week 4 and I have lost 1lb this week a total of 10lb over the 4 weeks.

I am finding it easy but looking at other peoples posts they seem to be losing faster than me, are they just lucky or I am slower than most to lose it.

I always fill in my on-line diary with no cheating I use 10-15 syns per day.

    Thanks

    Penny

Well done penny, Rachel and Cuffey on your losses.

penny, I don't know why but I just 'feel' that I lose more on red and green than on EE, although there shouldn't be a difference really and all plans should work.
Do you have a lot to lose? If not then I think a slower rate of loss is not only normal but desirable, better it goes of slowly and stays off I guess.

nic2075, I really know what you mean about fed up iwth feeling frumpy - I just feel a bit too 'mumsy' and as my clothes have become bigger so they have become 'older' to. I want to look younger than my years, not older, and i think that shifting a bit of weight will mean I can fit into some of the more trendy clothes. My aim is to not wobble too much in a bikini in June!

  • Hi all,

I needs some help. Tomorrow evening I have my ladies coming over for a meal. I was planning a lovely buffet style menu that would all be free on an EE day. I have thought about the following but wonered if anyone else has any ideas.

    Thanks, Ging x

egg halves - any ideas how I keep these looking fresh and not going grey?
    smoked salmon
    prawns
    cold batchelors savoury rice
    jacket potatoes
    salad
    beetroot
    pickled onions
    carrot/cucumber sticks/cherry tomatoes

    mullerlights

Just to say, looking in my book (i still weigh in every week at class), I had lost 4 1/2 lb by week 4. In fact, to lose 10lb took me 12 weeks.

... it should go without saying that I think you are doing fantastically. :T:T

I think perhaps, by not attending a group, you will not always see peoples 'gain' days - this forum is online, and whilst most people will share the losses, some people will not choose to share the gains. In a class situation, you quickly realise that for the people losing 3 - 4lb weekly, there are many losing 1/2 or 1 or staying the same.

Please don't have any sense of being disheartened - you are doing brilliantly - even more so given that you do not have the support of a 'real life group'
  • Well I went to SW yesterday and weighed in 1 lb lighter:j. This is a miracle taking into consideration the hot cross buns I devoured over the weekend. This week I am being extra careful and doing SAS daily logs in the hope that I will have an extra good loss next week. My plan for today is:-

    B - Allbran
    Smilk

    s - Banana

    L - Baked beans
    Muller light yoghort

    s - Apple

    D - Casserole of steak & kidney
    Mashed potatoes
    Carrots
    Brocolli
    Onions

    Syns Oxo cube 1
    1 tbs flour 3 1/2
    tomato puree 1/2

    Plus drinking lots of water.

    I hope this works.

Been to class. Have put on 2lbs but I expected to put on. I had company at the weekend and I tried not to do too much damage. Will get back on track.
