I probably have 1 or 2 of those plastic tubs, we very rarely get take-aways!

I will make an effort to get some plastic tubs from town once the kids have gone back to school (really can't be bothered with the trauma of taking all three of them) And I WILL try and do some healthy batch cooking.

Try your local pound shop or Home Bargains, if you have one, for the tubs.

Tesco Wholefood yellow split peas dried are free on green days. So I would hazzard a guess that they are for EE too. Not sure whether you could liquidise them though without committing a sin of syns....

ok thanks they are lovely in a soup and help thicken it
Big Thanks to all those who post competitions you are stars!

    -Stir fry with quorn

Pete - do you find that the stirfry freezes ok? i've never tried but for some reason don't think that it would.

I tend to use tofu not quorn, tofu doesn't freeze well but it takes seconds to chop and fry in frylight and soy sauce. But I buy a big bag of stirfry veg and never manage to eat it all!

    Oooh, Spooky goings on

I was just really naughty and ate an entire easter egg, as I was eating the last delicious morsel, my mobile bleep, bleepy bleeped a text message arrival. It was from my SW consultant wishing me a happy bank holiday and hoping I was resisting too much chocolate . Scared the living daylights outta me, how did she know!!:rotfl:

I find its fine as long as you don't mind the stir fry having the slightly over cooked texture to it. I mentioned in an earlier post that I find cooking with frylight a bit hit and miss anyway using additional water. A little too much, boil it off and you have soggy stir fry anyway. No different to any other microwave meal really.

  • Hi all
Haven't posted since my first one on the 29/03/09 but have lost 8lbs since starting. This isn't too bad but I could have done better, but I have had a couple of difficult weeks with family members in hospital and that time of the month as well! But I haven't eaten a single Easter egg either mainly because I don't like them lol
 I know how shocked some of you are right now lol

I am hoping to get back into it properly this week and will be trying to stick to green days and cut down on the sins, I tried the EE but found ~I ended up eating too much and felt quite bloated, so will try a week of only green with lots more exercise as I have now bought myself a cross trainer.
Well done everyone and thanks for all the support from you all.

I'm annoyed as I went to WI at a different (more local) class tonight as did not want to do 30mile round trip just to WI at my normal class (near work). I had text the consultant who runs the local class Sat to check it was definately on for today, she said yes but just WI not class, and I turned up today at 6.10pm - it starts at 6, and no sign of anyone. Doors locked, gate shut! Waited 15mins and still nothing. Didn't bring her number with me so couldn't even ring to find out!

So now I have to find another class to WI at, and Im off on a day trip tomorrow and was gonna have a nice lunch as a treat but won't want to now if I have to WI tomorrow night.
