Well done petey:) I on the other hand have eaten 2 creme eggs, umpteen maltesars and have been continually snapping bits off the kids eggs!! I also had 2 packets of crisps for lunch and a curry for dinner.
Well that's confession time over. I am going to try again next week but I am beginning to wonder if I am trying this too soon after having the baby, as I just seem to have no time to prepare my self healthy food. all I seem to do is prepare things for the kids! I don't think it is helping that it is half term at the moment.

Hey Mel, have you got loads of those plastic chinese takeaway tubs with sealable lids? You could do what i do and spend a couple of hours doing a big cook up, portion it out and freeze stuff. Sunday is a big cook day for me and i probably cover half of the weeks meals. I leave half the week free because some days you just don't fancy what you have prepared.
Having stuff filed under red and green in the freezer helps when you need a meal fast from the microwave.
Regulars are now:
-SW quiche
-Vegetable lasagne
-Meatballs
-Stir fry with quorn

P.S. Today is weigh day and I lost 1.5kg taking me to my lowest in over ten years and i dipped below my 10% :Tredmel1621 wrote: »I just seem to have no time to prepare my self healthy food. all I seem to do is prepare things for the kids! I had a look on the SW website syns online and could only find these two:
Nando's Peri-Peri 1/4 Flame-Grilled Chicken Breast 1 medium
Original 6 Syns
Green 17 Syns
Nando's Peri-Peri 1/4 Flame-Grilled Chicken Leg 1 medium
Original 2 Syns
Green 10½ Syns
The pitta will be high in syns too.I'm veggie so only really look at the veggie side of the menu, but if you're doing a green day you could have couscous, salad, rice etc....x

Hey Pete.
I probably have 1 or 2 of those plastic tubs, we very rarely get take-aways!
I will make an effort to get some plastic tubs from town once the kids have gone back to school (really can't be bothered with the trauma of taking all three of them) And I WILL try and do some healthy batch cooking.
Thanks.

Please can anyone tell me if Yellow split peas (dry) for soup etc are Free?
ThanksBig Thanks to all those who post competitions you are stars!0 -
Tesco Wholefood yellow split peas dried are free on green days. So I would hazzard a guess that they are for EE too. Not sure whether you could liquidise them though without committing a sin of syns....PenelopePitstop2008 wrote: »Please can anyone tell me if Yellow split peas (dry) for soup etc are Free?
