Thanks Natalie - that does sound quite yummy!! some of the food is relatively healthy from what I remember - so hopefully there'll be something which won't totally throw me off plan!
Bec - it's working just fine!!Your wee saying made me smile - I used to work in a very weight conscious (or actually - obsessed to the point of bordering on a disorder) office - and they had wee post-it notes all over the place with things like that written on them.
Every time I went to have a bar of chocolate (or even just a plate of salad which appeared to have too much lettuce on it) - there was one girl Claire who would say "now remember Laura, nothing tastes as good as being slim feels...." - funnily enough she was built like a stick insect!
:hello: Rach and welcome to our wee group!!I'm sure you'll shed those lbs in no time - with the help of a few "virtual" friends

Welcome to all the newbie/rejoinees to the thread. Tess - I'm like you, I can't have any chocolate etc in the house or I'll eat it. I don't have kids though, so it makes it easier that I don't have to buy in any sweets etc.
Becs - Congrats on the wedding. You can do it! You've got 24-25 weeks to lose 21 lbs. Keep aiming for 1lb a week and if you slip one week, work extra hard to get back on track. We'll all help you keep motivatedLove MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -

can I have some opinions?
I started back at SW group last week - I can't however fully commit to the eating plan as such until after easter - I know i am making excuses but i have mothers day (away all w/e) this w/e, next w/e is my 30th birthday (boo hiss ) then for easter we are away
I am planning (or have started) following the plan mon-fri but giving myself some slack for the w/e's and while we are away - then when i get back after easter wil commit 100%
I feel by doing this i am getting into healthier habits but not upsetting myself for not being able to do w/e yet
does anyone else think this is a good way of doing this until i feel mentally able to apply myself 100%
thanks in advance

Boredjellybean have you could try success express or extra easy. Or you could just do it 100% when you can and be flexible when you can't, that way you will probably maintain or may even lose!
Good luck for you first weigh in.
I will check in tomorrow as I have to go to a meeting soon and do not have internet at home. One fine day I will be slim and debt free!!0 -
When I do EE days, i def eat red/green free food as snacks, strange the consultant couldn't answer for you
fluffynit
Breakfast 1 rasher bacon, some grapes
lunch grilled bacon, scrambled egg, 3 syn free sausages, tomatoes, baked beans, cup of tea
snack 2 plums, cup of tea
I don't know what to have for tea tonight really - I have some turkey breast fillet and stir fry veg mix but I haven't got any soy sauce and don't really like it without that. I also have loads of packets of savoury rice and pasta n sauce but I am trying to give that a miss at the moment in favour of "fresh" stuff so I will have to have another look in the freezer and fridge.
I just found out today that Sainsburys Meatfree burgers are only half a syn each on green and red and they are properly fit! I might have them for tea tonight with some SW wedges - I use a 57g wholemeal roll and have one burger on each half with salad and hellmanns extra light mayo and top them with a low fat cheese slice and some chopped onion and gherkin 0 yum!
I am also thinking of making Marion's rice thing - has anyone made it? Do you eat the whole half cup of dried rice in one go?Jane

I think your Consultant might be confusing her Superfree with Superspeed.
As far as I'm aware (although don't quote me because I've only been at SW for 9 weeks), Superfree means free on red and green days, and a Superspeed is one of the fruits or veggies that really help you shift the pounds.
They are all listed in the books though, so maybe best to check that I'm not talking rubbish!!
Have a great week.
