are you on a green day? if so, maybe have a bowl of marion's breakfast rice (albeit it's evening!).
(pudding rice cooked with water for 20 mins, then mix through a mullerlight)
thanks for the idea - haven't got the ingredients today but will remember for another time! have just written up my food for today & have only used 4 syns so I have some lee way

Wow....it amazes me that it can work, but looking at this thread it does...does not sound a hard diet to follow...0

Hi - hope you don't mind me joining in but I am starting SW (for the umpteenth time:o ) again tonight and only just found this thread the other day. I was so pleased about the egg mayo from Sainsburys BGTY and I have just found out the McCains Rustic Oven Chips are only 1syn for 100g and a 300g portion is more than even I can eat in one go so I have bought some of them along with the egg mayo. I joined SW about 6 weeks ago but didn't stick with it because I was doing EE and wasn't losing hardly anything. I have a HUGE amount to lose and was spurred on to try again by that couple who lost 20 stone who were on GMTV yesterday. This time I am going to try again with EE because it is so easy to follow but I am going to limit my syns to 10 (I was having 15 - 20 before) and I am going to weigh all my syn stuff and HE A and B's which I wasn't doing before. I just have one question about EE (my consultant couldn't answer it
) - If you are doing EE and want to eat, say, a packet of 98% fat free noodles, savoury rice or pasta n sauce as a snack is it free? The people in my class said that they are only free on a green day and would have to be syns on an EE day but I don't think so - surely the principle of EE is that anything which is free on a green or red day is free on an EE day - or am I wrong?

Yup, you are right, if its free on red or green it free on EE & if it has syns you count the lower syn value. Remember you can only have 1 HE A & 1 HE B when on EE though.0

You are right - anything that is free on a red day or a green day can be eaten on an EE day freely, at any time.
Remember though - for the best and fastest results, aim to have 1/3 of your daily food as SUPERFREE food.0 -
Hello everyone :wave:
Some of you might remember me from a while back, I remember some of your names. I joined SW in January 2008 and got to my target loss of 1st 10lbs last June. I stayed within my target range until January this year but had put on half a stone by the time I went again, eight weeks later!
After the end of the first week I lost 1lb and this week I have lost 2lbs and also got Slimmer of the Week, surprisingly. I have another 4lbs to lose to be back within my target range but ideally I would like to lose another half a stone and reset my target to be a round 2 stone in total. I'm just addicted to those little target stickers!
Anyway, I have managed to lose both weeks so far, but I haven't been very good, so this week I am going to:- Have planned treats every day (the syn values are already written on the Fudges and Curly Wurlys in my cupboard!)
- Drink loads of water
- Read this thread every day for ideas and motivation

Hello shiny new thread
. Just checking in really. Doing ok this week. Made the spaghetti meatballs from one of the old books "50 Best Recipes, think it came free with something - they were great. WI later, so I'm hoping for 1 or 2 lbs. Taking mum out to Italian on Sunday so I'm going green and hope to keep the syns to a minimum. Any advice for eating at the Italian?

hello everyone,
well i took the plunge and finally joined in the local sw class last night. walked in and there is about 60 in the group and i knew a third of them lol so hopefully that will make my slimming easier as i will get outside support as well. i NEED to lose 3 stone which seems like a massive ammount compared to some people but i WILL DO IT this time lol. Look forward to meeting you all in the following weeks on this thread xx0
